I really felt like Dr. Ludwig was very informative. My impression has not changed. The office staff supportive and caring. Dr. Ludwig is a great doctor and really knows what he is doing. He emphasizes aftercare as a life long process. He has a great aftercare program. He was very straight forward with the risks involved with the surgery. On a scale of 1 to 10, I rate him a 10. Both his surgical competence and bedside manner are wonderful.

He was very quiet and attentive to everything I was telling him and had a prompt and comfortable response to my questions.

The staff are great and will help you with anything they seem like an encyclopedia.

The office distributes a booklet that has a plan for eating. Personally I think there aren't enough choices for food early on. you kinda get burned out on the stuff that is on it.

I was first attracted to the Live Light Center in Biloxi because I knew someone who had the surgery there and was very pleased. I made an appointment and was not disappointed. Dr. Ludwig is kind, professional and caring. He had done many gastric by-passes before coming to Biloxi, but I was impressed that he had been a laparoscopic surgeon for many years. I wanted laparoscopic by-pass surgery instead of open surgery and wanted a "master" at the job.

He's the greatest as far as I'm concerned. I went in for surgery on 12 Jul and came home on 14 Jul. I've been walking (as prescribed) and have to admit, feel pretty good. Dr Ludwig addressed every issue I can think of and I would definitely rate him a 10 out of 10. He is an amazing combination of surgical competence and a caring physician! I now have hope for the first time in many, many years!

This is a terrific hospital and well staffed and equipped for a small urban hospital. I would recommend it to anyone.

Between the ICU nurses and the med surg nurses I felt in safe hands.

The care was good. I felt that the cna's were overworked. One said that she was never supposed to have more than 7 patients at a time and the whole time I was there she had between 9 and 11.

I had my own room, so I felt more comfortable than I might if I had had to share a room. The nures' and staff were great. Though a few (one) could use more compassion for wls patient( though she treated me well.) Her comments about others in my same situation were sad to hear from a proffesional.
