CLEAN, ADMISSSIONS STAFF WERE VERY PROMPT AND FRIENDLY.
ICU RN: GRUMPY AND FUSSED AT ME FOR RINSING MY MOUTH OUT WITH WATER. ALSO SAID PUT YOUR CPAP ON I AM GONNA GIVE YOU MEDS TO MAKE YOU SLEEP. WHICH IT DIDNT MAKE ME SLEEP AND SHE WAS LIKE WANTING ME TO GO TO SLEEP SO SHE DIDNT HAVE TO DO ANYTHING ELSE FOR ME I THINK.

Wonderful hosptial and the most absolute BEST Doctor possible. The nursing staff on 7th floor was horrible. I would say please take your own nurse with you for your stay on this floor if you are unable to get up and go to them for your meds, IV exchanges, and anything else you may need them for. I was thoroughly disappointed in the nursing staff on 7th floor. Thank goodness my husband was there to help me out of bed to the bathroom, because they would have never come. I plan on writing the hospital adminstrator to complain about this matter. There is no excuse for a patient to be ignored as my doctor put it no more then a 15 minute wait.

Nursing staff was very short staffed. Never saw a nurse just cna's. I had to beg for hours just for water after Dr. DeWitt oked it for me to have liquids. I went home the day after my surgery because of poor nursing staff and because Dr. DeWitt actually said I would probably be better off at home.

The *decoration* was more old-style, but the accomodations were excellent...the staff was very nice to me and the only complaint would be about ANY hospital...they are constantly in your room checking vitals so it is hard to rest.

the ICU staff was excellent. but the floor nursing was terrible. I couldn't get my pain meds, no one to help me bathe or walk. It was the worse nursing care I have ever seen. I have been a nurse for 30 years so I know what I am talking about.

I had a decent experience with the hospital, especially considering the bad reputation it has. I had a really WONDERFUL ICU nurse named Renee that was an absolute angel. Overall, I think the experience wasn't much different from any other hospital - no better no worse.

Well I had discusses the problems with the hospital with Dr. Dewitt prior to being admitted. The trick to getting your pain medicine is that you have to ask for the pain medicine. I was allowed to have demerol every two hours. My mom would call when I wanted it and the nurse would bring it promptly. Very nice nursing staff.

The night staff was terrible. One nurse actually told me she didn't agree with my surgery. That it was a quick fix and that I needed to get off my butt and exercise. Another nurse tripped over my IV cord and nearly ripped it out of my arm.
