Carraway Methodist Medical Center Hospital

I am glad my mom was there w/me the entire time because this hospital gave NO addital care. The nurses were very slack and ill tempered. I would not recommend this hospital to anyone.

My stay was short and sweet. I do think they overuse their CNA's and my "nurse" was only an LPN...I rarely saw a real RN at all.

They seemed all right.

I had to ask for pain medicine 3 and 4 times before my Mother went and got the nurse. From the time I asked for pain meds until I got it was usually an hour. I feel that is rediculous. Especially when I was right across from the nurses station and could hear them all night laughing and having a great time.

My surgery went through without complications and I only had to stay one night. I was ready to get out of there though. I don't think I could have stayed another night there.

I used this hospital before when I had a heart attack, and all of my doctors are there, and I would use it again.

the icu staff was GREAT but after i got out on the floor the staff was BAD
i did not like this HOSPITAL.
but that would not stop me from haveing the surgery.

I think they need to have more night staff . I think when a patient calls , they should respond within 5 mins. Especially patients who have to have their assistance. The day nurses were wonderful to me. The night nurses were very nice , just alot slower.I was there alone and I didn`t call them unless I really needed something. I would rate this hospital a 8 out of 10.

THE STAFF WERE GREAT

The nurses were understanding and usually came fairly quickly when I called upon them. Most of my nurses while I stayed there were very nice and helpful.
