Carraway Methodist Medical Center Hospital

The hospital was very clean and the staff were all very nice.

This hospital was very nice. 99% of the workers were very friends, seemed very knowledgeable. You always have them coming in every couple of hours, but that's their job. I would recommend this hopsital to everyone!

Excellent! But we all must rememeber that we and our families must take part in our care!

My stay was ok. Most of the staff was attentive. The hospital was clean & everything seemed to work properly. I had a particularly good ecperience with Nurse Nancy. She was wonderful & encouraging.

The beds are small....even on the floor that they keep obese people after surgery. Like I said, the hospital is not as updated. Clean facilities & overall okay. But, not my first pick.

Clean, the rooms were a little sparse but they are getting a new baratic wing. So I am sure this will improve.

Excellent! Several of the nurses in the unit had taken special courses on bariatric surgery, and were very helpful. All rooms are private, so my sister was able to spend both nights in my room on a chair that folded out to a bed. The entire program is excellent from pre to post op, including a pre-op "info day" with presentations on what to expect, nutrition, and respiratory therapy. At all times I felt like the staff I was working with cared about me as a person rather than just a patient.

The nurses on 7th floor were wonderful!! I think they were very nice, cooperative and willing to meet my needs. I had to ask for pain meds, but that is what we were told to do, and as soon as I asked, they would bring it straight away. They checked on me several times, especially when I didn't call them for anything, so that was really nice, but I was OK for most of the time. Overall I think this was a great stay!!
