I met with Dr. Ducan on July 6th 2009. I had a one on one meeting with him. I found him to be very nice and understanding. He also has a great since of humor. He first asked me to explain the procedure to him which I did, then he explained the risks involved. He answered all my questions, and was not rushed for time. I would recommend him to anyone.
The first time I met Dr Duncan was in a seminar to find out about what their facility offered. I was totally impressed with the facility the information and staff on the first encounter. My husband and I left that evening knowing I had made the right choice in that facility and choosing Dr. T. Duncan as my surgeon. I had my first meeting with Dr. Duncan in Aug. 08 and that day was the beginning of the changes in my life. He was very nice and up front with me. He gave me lots of information and told me the concerns he had for me regarding my weigh and BMI since I was a high risk. Dr. Duncan talked with my husband to express to him how important it was for me to make a change in my life. I was very impressed with him including the fact that he is on FOX news every Thursday between the hours of 0730 -0800 educating views on their health. I knew he would play a big part in my life by given me this wonderful tool. I had my surgery on Sept 02. And I had no problems, no pain, no discomfort or anything. I went home the same day. I now have a chance to have a different life, a healthy life and an opportunity to live longer because of Dr. T. Duncan and this wonderful tool. The staff was very nice and made my surgery experience pleasant. To Dr. Duncan and his staff I say God Bless You!!!
Whe I met him, he was very professional and straight to the point. He has remained that way. The office staff is very helpful and friendly. I think he is the greates doctor. I had my surgery, I lost weight quickly and I can honestly say I am VERY happy about the way I look now. People can't believe I am me.
the first impression I had of Dr. Duncan was, what a nice, thorough, caring MAN. He answered all my questions and introduced me to Dr. Fields, who took over my after-care. Dr. Duncan has always been available to me for answering any questions but Dr. Fields has a very vast knowledge of these procedures. rnI am very confident in MY DOCTORS! rnIt makes me mad when people say that these doctors do not care or turn us over to someone else; isn't the sign of a good leader someone who can deligate responsibility to qualified individuals? After all, we're all only human.rnI started out 357 pounds just 3 years ago & I am now 160 pounds & size 4 jeans for well over a year now. rnrnI do have LOTS & LOTS of extra skin ( any-one neeed skin graphs? I'll gladly donate it.) Please do not think I do not have limitations, I do, but I was well informed about EVERYTHING POSSIBLE BEFORE SURGERY. This group of doctors are very caring & capable.rnrnI HAVE NOT BEEN SEEN THERE OR HAD CONTACT WITH P.T.B. IN WELL OVER A YEAR. rnrnI know I do need a check-up but I live 280 miles away on a limited income & I have great medical doctors here in Savannah who watch over me. rnI am finally OFF all but 1 of my high blood pressure tabs. I have lots of spinal injuries from the cervical to lumbar, proably (I am sure that it has a lot to do with over working myself as if I was a man) God did not create women as tough as men... ask any surgeon...rnrnplz feel free to ask me anything about lapo- bypass surgery from Peachtree Bariatrics. This was not the first seminar I went to before I had surgery. rnI PICKED PEACHTREE Bariatrics with what I thought was being well INFORMED.............rnrnGod bless You & Yours,rnMAKE NEW LIFE DECISIONS SO YOU CAN LIVE AS I DO NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I STILL HAVE MY SPINAL INJURIES BUT ON A GOOD DAY, YOU'D NEVER KNOW IT...rnrnIT FEELS GREAT FOR MEN & WOMEN TO LOOK & TO ASK & NOT EVEN KNOW ME UNTIL I LOOK THEM IN THE EYES & ASK THEM WHO I AM!!!!!!!!!!!! MY older, slightly handicapped sister did not know me after about 6 months when she came back to town. We ARE THE 2 OLDEST OF 7 CHILDREN and always have been the closest...rnrnI AM BLESSED.................rnANYTHING I CAN HELP WITH, PLZ FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME. I AM NOT SHY ABOUT IT NOW.rnLAURA LEE S. rnSAVANNAH, GA. USArnrnI LOVE THESE DOCTORS & HAVE THE MOST RESPECT FOR THEM,,,,,,,,,,,rnTHEY SAVED MY LIFE!LAURA LEE

Wow! what can i say about Dr.Duncan, And Dr.Larry Hobson, They are a packaged team they are the best , i was actually sheduled to have Dr. Duncan do my surgery but I was just as comfortabe knowing that Dr. Hobson was actully taking me under the knife. lol. It was an amazing experienced from the firts meeting to consultation day to dealing with ofice staff , which are all beautiful people. Surgery day was a madd nervous day But I ws okay I knew I was going to be okay . I had my surgery on June 28th , 2006 At the morning of Surgery I was 350lbs. had just los the 60 pound prior to surgery on the south beach life plan to help me get it off before surgery and i was ready, I had conjestive heart failure hurting legs swelling all the time and sleep apena as well as borderline diabetes. so i was a hott mess, but i knew i was going to have a hard road ahead but i was doing what i had to do. surgery morning was interesting, i was waiting patiently with my sister whom previous had her surgery completed in Virgina, but we were waiting and the nurse called me to come dwn and that i was getting ready to go down I took a deep breath and continuing my pray, silently, I was dressed and ready for the surgery rom I was deling with the Anistigologist snd few other medical staff checking on me then Dr. Hobson came out and said he was going to be doing my surgery that dr/ Duncan was unable to return due to a confrence he had been attending I was okay and then I got very quiet, he asked was there anything he could do and all i knew to say was , coul you pray with me nd he was so willing to do so and then i knew from there when i then said pease after this pray just make sure i wake up. he looked me in the eyes and said i will ee you throught this and i will see you up stairs in recovery. and hours later he did just that surgery went fantastic, i didnt even think I had had it yet , Dr.Hobson came back in the room and said hey there your back and everything went great , were sending u down stairs to make sure u have no leaks u have to drink this stuff and then you wl be all good , the chalking barium stuff is horrible but well worth it. im all good I am two years post op and i am now a whopping 216 pounds ... I am still loosing i have had emotional challanges , but i'm good. I am full of energy and i am still taking vitamins and getting the protein buyer beware you wil getto a point you will feel like u are not losing u are ur body and mindhave to catch up so take it easy , ur body works faster than the brain so its always catching up so just keep it up and you will get to the goal score, i still m working on getting to 135 , everyone tells me that is to skinny but i jut wantto reach it ...... wish me luck and keep the prayers going.... contact me for support or any questions The Doctors are the greatest in the business.... rest assure you will be okay ...... i know i feel guilty i have to get back to the office i have been staying with my pcp so its all good.....Dr.Duncan, Dr.Hobson i Love you men you roc!!!!!!!!The best bedside manner ever and i did see Doct Duncan after he came in my room and told me to stay in Atlanta for the remainder of the week , but I was a bad girl and I made my sister take me back home to Richmond Hill so i could get in my own bed and sleep I called the office and told them i was heading home , they were fne with it but i had to make sure to call when i arrived ad check back often. I did...yes the surgery and after care is important and it is stressed that u do everything by the baraiatric bible an it is very vital to success . if u need it research it ad go to these doctors tey are he best!rnContac me [email protected] best wishes
Dr. Duncan is the BEST!!! rnrnI first started attending his weight-loss seminars in 2000; it took me 6 years to overcome different \"fears\" before I finally decided to go all the way. But you can read the reviews for yourself... he is definitely a \"top-shelf\" pick for bariatric surgery.rnrnDr. Duncan's office is VERY busy. His staff is nice and his surgery coordinators are very capable... though sometimes I received slow response. He is, by far, my choice of surgeons. As for checking statuses, my suggestion would be to learn everyone's email address!!! :0)rnrnGood luck!!!rnrn
I had the best experience with Dr. Titus Duncan. He is one of the best in this field. I met him for the first time at my orientation 3 months before surgery. His information on the surgery was so helpful and thorough. When he finished the seminar I trusted him with my life fully. It has been 4 wonderful years for me, and I still attend the monthly group meetings he has for his patients. I love Dr Duncan's office staff. They all make you feel comfortable about what you are going through. Dr Duncan is the best!!! Kevin
