Delenya Allen Bariatric Surgeon MD

Dr. Allen completed her general surgery training at Howard University. She then went on to complete a fellowship in Advanced Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery at NYU Winthrop Hospital. During this time Dr. Allen has published multiple papers on benefits and outcomes around bariatric surgery and its treatment in metabolic disease. Her passion for health extends past her medical practice as a certified fitness instructor. Dr. Allen is excited to start her practice at Peachtree Surgical & Bariatrics providing laparoscopic and robotic procedures in the treatment of obesity, including gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy, adjustable gastric banding and revision of prior bariatric surgery. Robotic laparoscopic bariatric surgery is something we are excited to offer to our patients. It is the latest evolution in surgical technique.
