My first impression of Dr. Duncan was that he is very compassionate about the work that he is doing, and believes that anyone can acheive a healthier lifestyle no matter what size they are. The office staff is so caring and really invests in their patients. He greatly emphasizes aftercare, once you are his patient it is a lifelong commitment he makes with you. He informed me of the risks i would encounter by opting the gastric bypass and made sure i understood and was willing to accept those risks. I would rate Dr. Duncan and his staff an exceptional 10 out of 10, they are all fantastic, i would not of put my life in any one elses hands.

I truly like my surgeon. His staff is wonderful with follow up. I had my surgery in his surgical center and it was a great experience. It was calming. He stresses aftercare and provides a workout routine that that is very helpful. Because he is well known in my area, it is sometimes hard to get an appointment with him. My initial pre op appointment was with another doctor. His staff is very competent, but I would like to see him more during my visits. I do like the fact that he has multiple offices and a specific office set up just for adjustments.

I have finally gotten a surgery date!! YEAH!!! June 1, 2010. I must say that so far my experience with Dr. Duncan's has been nothing short of wonderful. I have only dealt with Colleen, the bariatric coordinator, and if she is any indication of how Dr. Duncan is -- I know that I am in very capable hands!!! So, I'll update after I meet Dr. Duncan on April 1, 2010 (no --- it's no April Fool's joke).

My first impression of Dr. Duncan, (about 6 years ago), is that he has a genuine concern and stake in the health of society as a whole. His passion and intellect won me over. I am familiar with him, as he is a colleague of a previous employer. His fellow Physicians' opinions of him are very highly regarded, and that speaks volumes. Dr.'s can be VERY catty towards one another.. Especially when within the same specialty.
The staff is highly proficient, yet honest. They do not encourage or promise dates and information that is not verified or can be placed on writing, and with this type of situation, I greatly appreciate that.
There is not anything that I dislike about Dr. Duncan and pray that this remains true...ESPECIALLY until post surgery. LOL! Patients should know that he is knowledgeable and caring. Bedside manner is perfect. His vocal performances are pretty darn good, also as he sings Dream the impossible Dream at the close of his seminars! Aftercare is emphasized as well as support groups. He addresses the risks of surgery as well as the ramifications of being non-compliant. He stresses that this is not "MAGIC" but merely a tool. You have to be responsible to incorporate and practice the lifestyle changes and modifications in order to achieve and maintain success. I give him a 20 on a scale form 1-10 with 10 being the best. I am thankful he accepts my insurance. May God continue to Bless and keep Dr. Duncan, Peachtree Bariatrics, and each cand evryone of you reading this post.
Muah!

Dr. Titus Duncan is a very warm gentleman; the first time that I met him was at one of his seminars a little over a year ago; his co-surgeon Fritz Jean-Pierre is GREAT also, very personable and does not mind explaining all of the processes; the Staff at Atlanta Medical Center is one of the best, I have never worked with such a cooperative and supportive group of people. When ever I call they have always gone beyond with their assistance.rnrnWell my surgery day has come and gone, and I have to say that I AM FULLY SATISFIED. I had no Pain, I had no excessive Gas, there were no complications with the surgery and so far so good with my recovery. I have lost close to 30lbs since surgery and I am feeling better everyday.rnrnThankful to Dr's. Duncan and Jean-Pierre I am able to see a light in my travelling tunnel, for better health and feeling good about myself.rnrnI am glad that I made this choice, just wish I had done it years ago.

My first impression was he was very friendly and funny. While be very good at his job, he also gave credit to God & Juice Plus for his sucess. It hasn't really changed over them time...he is just a friendly doctor who understands whit. There wasn't anything that I can say that I did not like. Aftercare is the MOST important part of this procedure...he stresses on that on if you don't do what your supposed to...then you could die. There was a pre-op appointment where we had a class on the possible ricks and or complications of the surgery. Obviously surgical competence is #1...but bedside manner is always a positive. :)

Dr. Duncan appeared with angel wings. For so long I have known of him. I watched him on tv. He performed surgery on two of my relatives. Becaue of the history of how I had known him, I was awed... but he made me very comfortable and at ease. He was very professional but on a level that I could understand.

I went to one of his seminars and I knew just from that I wanted him to do my surgery. He is very honest, down to earth, and very knowledgeable in the field. His office staff is great and very helpful in the approval process. In my own personal experience the only thing I would change is the wait for an appointment but, I guess with him and the office staff being so good there will be a wait.
