DOC. ROSSI WAS VERY NICE. I WAS SO NERVOUS BECAUSE I LOOKED FORWARD TO OUR CONSULTATION FOR SO LONG. HE ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS AND DIDNT RUSH ME. I ADMIRE THE FACT THAT HE HAS SEVERAL CHILDREN AND IS A REAL FAMILY MAN. HES STAFF HAS ALL BEEN GREAT, EXSPECIALLY MELINDA. I WOULD GIVE HIM A GOOD RATING. THE ONLY THING I DIDNT LIKE WAS ALL THE WAITING. THEY REALLY STRESS THE AFTERCARE, AND THATS A GOOD THING.
I had my first visit with Dr. Rossi on Dec. 17th thought he was wonderful. He was kind, informative and made me feel important. The staff was also very friendly and knowledgable. He explained the process, the possible risks and answered my questions. I was very pleased with the experience.
Before and after my surgery Dr. Rossi was very attentive and checked on my progess. He made me feel very comfortable in asking any questions or contacting him at any time with any concerns.
I can honestly say that I have nothing negative to say about my surgeon or his office. I have never had to wait, the staff has always been friendly and helpful.
I have not had my consult yet. I met Dr. Rossi @ a support group meeting in Peoria. He is very friendly and nice. The Peoria Surgical Group has a very good program. They require you to attend an educational class before surgery. They emphasize aftercare and have a support group. Dr. Marshall of the Peoria Surgical group performed my mom's surgery and she had fabulous results. I knew I wanted to go to the same group she went to. I liked Dr. Rossi so well when I met him @ the support group meeting, I decided to go with him instead of Dr. Marshall. However, I would be very comfortable with any of the doctors in this group. Dr. Rossi is great!! Very imformative. He answered all my questions. Melinda the nurse who coordinates the program is great. She is so encouraging and makes you feel very motivated.
Dr. Rossi seems very nice. Knows his stuff and is open for your questions. I got a good first impression of him.
Met Dr. Rossi once for the first time back in December 02. He seemed like a caring person who is knowledgable about bariatric surgery. His office staff was very nice and helpful. I don't know what I liked least about him--he seemed like a nice man. Dr. Rossi and his staff very much emphasized aftercare for life. Peoria has a structured aftercare program, seeing doctor on a regular basis, nutritional counseling, and support groups. We talked about the 2 different kinds of surgery I am interested in: Lap Band and Laparascopic R-N-Y and talked about the pros and cons of each (Dr. Rossi would recommend Lap Band if my insurance approves it). Overall, I would give Dr. Rossi a very good rating.
I LOVE DR. ROSSI, HE TAKES TIME WITH YOU AND EXPLAINS THINGS VERY WELL, I WOULD SAY I MADDE A VERY GOOD CHOISE. AS FAR AS AFTERCARE HE SAID I WOULD BE SEEING HIM ALOT IM HAVING THE BANDING,,,SO FAR I WOULD RATE HIM AN A+ AND HE DID TALK ABOUT THE RISKS WENT OVER IT ALL IN DEPTH,,,,HE HAS BOTH GREAT BED SIDE MANNER AND SEEMS VERY COMPETENT
my first apponitment with dr.rossi was yesterday feb 26 i was very impressed with him and also his staff was so great very full of information and were able to answer all of my questions. the were not in a hurry to get u in and out they spent as much time as it took for all i wanted to ask and know
they told me all about before and after care of the surgery and also all the risk that could be invloved with it. i would give the hole staff and dr rossi a #10 for suppot to me and all there help the offer
My first impression of Dr.Rossi was he is very nice he treated me like a person not like someone over weight.He was very preffesional about the whole visit. He explained all the goods and bads of the procedger.we decided to go lap on me cause it is less time out getting back to work for me is a big thing the bills don't stop comeing just cause u aren't working. His staff was very good to me they were excited about me having this done they took pic's of me and say I was going to be just bueatyful, she said not that u'r not pretty now..it was funny I really liked the whole staff when I first walked in the office it was so busy everyone doing something important. Were very helpful in my next visit I didn't have to pay any money right then and there either I was suprised on that to.There was one one thing about the doctor I did not like he did not talk loud enough I could hear him but I was tapeing the visit and when I got home I could not really hear it. oh well.He said this was a tool not a solution I had tobe the solution. I am really excited about this can't wait on a date.
