Stanley Hahn Bariatric Surgeon M.D.,F.A.C.S.

I am not quite sure about this guy just yet. I have only met with him once, the initial consult. I meet with him again the week before my surgery. I have done a lot of research on him and he is pretty successful and well accomplished. A friend at work says her husband used him for Lap Band but doesn't know anything about his personality or bedside manner. His staff seems pretty friendly, they return calls promptly and answer questions I have. His primary nurse, Kay, had the RNY, performed by Dr. Hahn and she says she loves him. We'll see how things go on my next visit.

Dr. Hahn was very humble and appeared very soft spoken. Over time I learned that is his demeanor. He is very knowledgeable and experienced in this field. His staff is warm and very friendly. Kaye was very encouraging from the beginning. Dr. Hahn stresses lifestyle changiong before and after the surgery. I was provided all the risks and benefits of this type of surgery. I was provided a laundry list of things that could happen but assured of the probability that nothing would occur out of the ordinary. I had the laproscopic by pass and after 1 month my wound was all healed. The recovery time was much shorter. I would recommend him to everyone.

Dr. Hahn is great!! I had my first appointment with him in 2004. I had a surgery date of August 2004 scheduled, then I got pneumonia and had to cancel. What a terrible dissapointment that was. Kay and Donna called me almost every day of my 8 day hospital stay. They are truly the best!!!!!! Dr. Hahn sure knows what he's doing!! I am 2 weeks post-op today and have lost 23 pounds. OMG!! Unbelievable. I started out at 235 lbs. This is so amazing. Thank you so much Dr. Hahn!!!!!!

My first appointment with Dr Hahn was on 3-29-05. I found Dr Hahn to be a very well spoken and knowledgeable physician. His office visit was one that I came away with a sense of well being. He explained all of the different procedures with the pros and cons of each of them. He answered all of my questions and told me all of the things I needed to know about aftercare, how much I can expect to loose, the risks of the surgery when done open vs lapascopic and his main concerns for patients of my weight. There are no doubts in my mind that I will be in good hands with him. Also his office staff and his nurse Kaye are wonderful.

My first imprssion of Dr. Hahn was great. He was very thourough and asked after each phase did I have any questions. i was immediatley impressed. Ms.Donna and Ms. Kay, I could not say enough good things about them. They were always polite never seem to be bothered by me stressing out over the insurance company taking so long to send me a letter. They are what staff should be in any doctors office. I am looking forward to write much more once my surgery is complete.

Dr. Hahn is very knowledgeable and well experienced in Gastric ByPass Surgery. He treats his patients with the upmost care and demands everyone involved with his patients to do the same!

Dr. Hahn insists on strong post-opt procedures; He requires his patients to spend a mim. of 5 days in the hospital, following surgery!

I was very impressed with Dr. Hahn. I spent at least an hour with him going over all the different procedures. I feel very confident with him and his staff.

Dr. Hahn and his staff are very nice. They are very knowledgeable about obesity and surgeries. They will work with you in any way that they can to help you to successfully achieve your goal. They are always smilling and are very cheerfull. His nurse knows which Insurance pays for what and what that insurance requires.

Dr.Hahn was very professional but yet personable. He explained everything in detail. The office staff are wonderful very careing and knowledgeable. Kay and Donna are Wonderful ladies. There's nothing I didn't dislike about him. Have your questions ready for him. After he explains he asked if I had any questions. Took his time with me. Aftercare very important to him. Yes, he does have a very structured aftercare. Dr. Hahn specifies clearly the risk of surgery. I would rate him a 9. I haven't rated him yet as for as bedside manner but hopefully I can soon. Bedside manners (10). But he is a very polite gentleman and seems to care about my well being. He is very competent and knowledgeable in the surgeries he performs. I would feel very confident and blessed to have Dr.Hahn as my surgeon.
