I was seeing a nutritionist for about 6 months and only lost 15lbs and was starting my life long struggle with yo-yo dieting when she suggested I go and talk to Dr. Sadek. I was a little hesitant at first but decided to keep an open mind and go anyway. I met with Dr. Sadek with my husband (who was against the surgery prior to us going) and after our first meeting with Dr. Sadek who was honest, direct and easy to talk to decided it was the right decision for me. Dr. Sadek made every step of the process easy and made me feel comfortable and confident with my decision. Always available for any questions I or my husband had. The post-surgery care has been incredible as well. He cares not only about the weight loss but your overall health and personal goals. He offers support groups which he tries to attend regularly. I had my surgery on August 14th and to date have lost 36lbs. This surgery was the best decision I made and probably long term saved my life. So I Thank Dr. Sadek from the bottom of my heart.

At 28 years old I weighed in at 215 pounds. Not to my surprise I also found out that I had became a diabetic from being overweight. I knew it was time to do something. i just wasn't sure what since I had failed at every other attempt at weight loss. I researched bariatric surgery and came across Dr. Sadek and thank god I did!
I walked into his office scared, nervous, not sure what to expect, what questions to ask. The young lady at the front desk was exactly what I needed to calm my nerves even for a little. She greeted me with a big smile and helped me get through my paperwork.

My first impression of Dr. Sadek was that he was soft spoken, very calming. He sat down with me and went over EVERYTHING. The differences between procedures, the risks, which one has a better success rate, my history of obesity and the different steps I have taken to lose weight. But most importantly we went over what the right procedure for me would be. I took couple weeks to think it over and decided to get the Lap Band.

I had my surgery in March of 2011. Since then I have lost 85 pounds. Dr. Sadek made sure I knew the importance of not just eating right but also exercising. He went over with me what exercises would be more beneficial for me and what would put more strain on me. He went over support groups and where and when he holds them. I saw him once a month for a year to make sure everything was going the way it was suppose to and I that I was losing the right amount of weight. Now I see him about every 6 months.

To anyone possible looking to have bariatric surgery I would say to you that Dr. Sadek should be your number 1 choice. I would give him almost 5 stars and the only reason I am not is because of his office hours. They were inconvenient for me because of my work schedule. I think he is the best at what he does and would recommend him to anyone!

I had the gastric sleeve done on July 24, 2013. From my very first meeting with Dr. Sadek, I was comfortable with my decision to have the gastric sleeve. He took his time and answered all my questions. Dr. Sadek explained my options and let me decide on the best course of action for me and my health. He did not pressure me and assured me that I was making a good decision...given the fact I am obese, has high blood pressure, and diabetes. Every follow up visit was the same...professional and informative.

I also appreciated the fact that Dr. Sadek required clearance from multiple doctors prior to me having the procedure and the doctors recommended was also great.

On the date of my surgery, I was a bit nervous but after meeting with Dr. Sadek and the staff at the hospital, I was reassured that all is well. I gain met with Dr. Sadek one week post op and everything was going well. I am writing this review 6 weeks post op and believes that it was the best decision I could have made. Minus a little acid reflux and soreness, I have no complaints.

I would highly recommend Dr. Sadek and his staff to anyone seeking to have bariatric surgery.

Caring, compassionate,professional, knowledgable. This is my second bariatric surgeon. Dr Sadek, plainly and simply, knows what he's doing. His staff is fantastic, too. Highly, highly recommended.

Dr.Sadek is a great doctor , I enjoy being his patient . He will provide an answer to any question that he is asked . His office provides great information with support groups . My surgery went very smooth and the after was great .i have no complaints on Dr.Sadek

Dr. Sadek is the best surgeon in the NJ area for General Surgery and Bariatric Surgery. As a healthcare provider myself I highly recommend him to anyone.

Gastric sleeve surgery has changed my life. I started 351lbs and in 4 months I have lost 90lbs.I feel great and for a change people are complimenting me on my looks not just my funny ways.It feels good. I have a lot more energy to do anything and my body doesn't ache like before. My ulcers are gone my sleep apnea is gone. I'm getting stronger and I look a lot better. My wife loves the changes I'm going thru and one of the best things is "NO MORE BIGMAN" clothes. There are more options for me when I shop. Even my feet have gotten smaller.lol. Don't think about it just do you won't regret it. "TEAM SADEK BABY"

I think he is a wonderful person and a great surgeon.

I have tried every type of weight loss. This surgery is the best tool I've used. It is just that. A tool. Not the answer. It helps to stick to a healthy lifestyle. I eat healthy now and I am satisfied. I can indulge at times but its a cookie. Not a box of cookies. If you treat this surgery as "the answer" you may be disappointed. You need to use it as a tool.
Dr Sadek provides support in every way with in office support and support groups to assist with ideas and strategies. I had surgery 14 months ago and I've lost 110 lbs. I've never felt better and it's not a chore. It's my lifestyle now. I have recommended dr Sadek to so many people, including my husband who has lost 70 lbs in 3 months, but more importantly is on a significantly reduced amount of insulin since the weight loss. He is an insulin dependent diabetic and may never be insulin free but his health is so much better as is our whole family!!
