I can not say enough about Dr. Sadek! He simply is one the best surgeons I have ever met and probably saved my life. I am a type 1 Diabetic and have been since age 4. I received the insulin pump 1 1/2 yrs ago and it put 60lbs on me, I just couldn't take it anymore and neither could my health. I was concerned that the vertical sleeve might not help because my weight did not mostly come on strictly by my eating habits, but Dr Sadek explained everything to me clearly and said this would def help! He was so right and I couldn't be happier with my results so far! I work in the medical field and know that sometimes surgeons become detached from the patients and lose the ability to care. Dr. Sadek is the complete opposite he cares for you as though you are family, from beginning to end. I can't believe the over the top care and consideration he took with me. He made me feel so safe and comfortable with the whole process with also being honest about the risks and outcomes. His office staff is wonderful as well and made the whole process very easy. Both Dr Sadek and his girls were there for me right away if I ever needed them!
Thank You Dr Sadek for giving me my life back!
Dr. Sadek is an excellent surgeon. He goes above and beyond for every patient he has. My surgery went well and I have to thank Dr. Sadek for saving my life. He also has excellent bedside manner and puts the patient at ease. He was highly recommended by my firnds who have used him as well. It was the best decision I have ever made to go to Dr. Sadek.
Dr Sadek saved my life, I had a band slippage and he had to take it out. &
7 weeks later he did the sleeve...I don'yt know what I would have done if he didn'nt help me...Thank you Dr. Sadek...Your bedside manners are wonderful, you are a gentle man and you have a heart of gold..I would recommend him to anyone who is looking to have bariatric surgery...

I can not say enough good things Dr. Sadek. To put it simply, this man saved my life...
When I first met Dr. Sadek I was 574lbs, on unemployment and was one step from being bed ridden. I needed help and went to his free seminar at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital. After meeting him I knew immediatly he was the right surgeon for me. He was personable, knowledgeable, and professional. That night I made an appointment and the journey began.
Here I sit 17 months later...current weight 284lbs, 34lbs from the goal that I laughed at when Dr. Sadek set it. It seemed impossible... but he helped to make it a reality.
I can not put into words my satisfaction with Dr. Sadek as a provider and as a person. I highly recommend him to anyone in the area in need of help. He will be there for you every step of the way, and will do all he can to ensure your success.
If you would like to ask me any questions about Dr. Sadek email me at [email protected] I will gladly answer them.
Im absolutely happy with the job Dr. Sadek has done with me. Im just 1 week post op but I've had NO complications what so ever so far. He really does know how to make you feel better, he is caring and willing to hear you and answer anything you have to ask. I STRONGLY recommend him to anyone wanting to get this life changing surgery.
Jan.2011~ I am just beginning to work with dr sadek. my mother is also a patient of his aswell. so i will tell you my experience so far.
I was introduced to him threw my mother who is a nurse and she loves him.
my opinions. my mother refered him to me because i was having a hard time finding a dr because i have state insurance. he personaly has taken my case into his own hands with his staff specialy since my insurance (njfamily care state insurance) changed companys in the new year to a hole new health care system. (united health care comunity plan). He has called them and done all the talking for me to be sure he is in network and bariatric sergery is covered in my plan. also if it isnt he stated to talk to him personaly and he would fight on my behalf to be sure I could have wls for medical nessesity. his staff was very curtious and on my case very prompt as far as working with my calls from the websight contact point aswell. i sent a message threw his personal internet site and was contacted with in 48 hours. they also answered my questions and tended to my needs right on the phone with out a hangup and call back.
i have noticed his history avalible online threw various sites and his job history is excelent. he worked in newark as a trama sergon for several years and is the head of robertwood johnson university hospital in new brunswick new jersey and has 2 offices where he can meet with you.
so far his first impression is great considering i see many drs due to health problems and usualy my gut feelings are acurate. he speaks very clearly and is able to be understood with no problems. that is a very very important issue in our area considering most dr's in our area have strong acents making it hard to understand. this is not a problem at all so far.
He was very kind easy to joke with.
Office staff awesome.
He would not let me fail so far by talking myself out of doing what i need to do.
He is able to meet you were you are in this journey.
Yes, he was up front with the risks of surgrey.
I am in the process of getting approval for the surgrey.
