Dr.Sadek was extremely helpful and continues to be helpful. He is always available when questions arise. Since my surgery, I have come off all of my diabetes medication and insulin as well as my cholesterol medications. I have recommend Dr. Sadek to several of my friends and relatives .

Dr. Sadek is great. I came in wanting to get a Lapband and he told me about other options available that I didn't even know about. The other doctors that he works with we're just as great and full of information. I had never heard of Dr. Sadek I just picked him out of a google search and it was one of the best picks I have ever made. His office team is excellent! They worked to get my approval until 3 hrs before my surgery, they never gave up. Dr. Sadek didn't rush me out of the hospital. I stayed a week and he checked on me and let me leave when I felt ready. The people at the hospital knew his work and some were past patients and they gave nothing but positive reviews,so that put me at ease. There were times I felt he was a little short during our meetings, but he is great. I am happy with my sleeve and the results. I would recommend him without a doubt.

THere is not enough stars to give on someone who has directed and changed my outlook on life and has showed me how inportant structure in meals could be so inportant.Dr Sadek gave me a warm and very conforable understanding on what I was committing myself to. His staff has been there for me from the 1st day and they still checkup on me. If you are looking for a doctor with a great bedside manor, easy to talk with, and explains in detail on what would be best for your health issues. After I had my bypass I was advised of support/health groups.vitiamins all things that would be needed to continue on my sucess for a healthy way of living.I have had only been dealing with Dr Sadek for 2 months which may not sound like much but I have worked with his office many times to get to this point. I have no negative words to share only because everything went great, and everything that I was informed of has happened. I will be updating my review as each meeting and guidence that is giving to me. I have lost 27pounds in just about 3week feel great eatting the way I was showned, no insulin anymore all I can say is I wish I knew of Dr Sadek long before. Thank you Doctor I know most its easy to complain but when needed to reach out and praise whe it is needed.

.....Happy Lapbander 4.5 years. My original dr. is not a dr. anymore.......I needed a fill and 7 dr.s would not touch me since I was NOT their original patient. Dr. Sadeek had no problem dealing with another dr.s patient....he is a dr and IS HERE TO HELP!! He is lovely and caring. His office is FILLED with happy patients....even the office staff is great. He knows his stuff and in my MANY years dealing with weight loss and weight loss patients - I have never heard of a dr. who is adored by all. He even went on to "fix" my friends RNY problems she had dealt with for years. LOVE THE MAN!! km

How do you begin to tell someone thank you for giving you your life back? I didn't even realize all that I had lost until I began gaining it all back.

Through all of the pre/post surgical process, Dr. Sadek has been an angel to me.

He is so encouraging, kind, sensitive and untiring in his devotion to me as his patient. I have never felt so supported and felt that someone has had such faith in me before.

My surgery date was 02/28/2012. Dr. Sadek is an excellent surgeon with a keen eye for keeping the patient safe. I had no post-surgical complications. As a matter of fact, I was back to work within two weeks and at the gym by four weeks. I haven't looked back or slowed down yet.

At 3 1/2 months post Roux-en-Y gastric bypass, I ran my first 5K! It was the Run For Dad on Father's day, for prostate cancer, in Mercer County park. On that same day, I hit my 60 pound mark!!! It was an amazing day! Then after that, I just kept running. When I hit six miles, I figured, 'Hey, if I can run six miles, I can run 26.2'

At my four month check up, Dr. Sadek agreed to sponsor 'TEAM SADEK' for the upcoming November 18th, 2012 Philadelphia Marathon!!! It was such a proud moment for me. I will continue to make him proud, too, when I cross the finsih line after 26.2 miles.

I have lost a total of 67 pounds!!! I am only 33 pounds away from my goal. I am at the point where I want to really stop and smell the roses now, because this will be the last time I will ever look through life at this weight again. Watching the pounds melt away, has just been amazing and it is almost over! Soon, this will all be a memory and I will be living in the healthy lifestyle I had previously only dreamed of. Already, my daughters and I regularly go to the gym together.

The amount of gratitude and awe that I have for Dr. Sadek is immeasurable. He greets me, like he greets all of his patients, like I am the only one. I cannot say thank you enough.

Ellen's story:

How do you thank someone that has given you a second chance at life. I was 340 lbs at my highest weight and maintaining a course of self destruction. I had Type 2 Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, High Cholesterol, Triglycerides and everything that goes along with it. I tried for 9 years to find someone that would take the chance and give me the opportunity to save myself before it was too late.

Dr. Sadek performed my Sleeve Gastrectomy on 7/6/2010, I have maintained a weight loss of approx.120-125 lbs. I no longer have any of the issues mentioned above.

Seeing my success, my husband decided to take the same path to getting himself healthy.

With a few bumps in the road, his Sleeve Gastrectomy was performed on 3/28/2012, he has lost approx 40 lbs to date.

Ed's story:

After I made the decision to start the process, I hit some snags with the cardiology clearance. After having 4 stents and being put on Plavix, I knew it was time to get this done. My doctors were concerned about having the surgery while being on Plavix. I did some research on the internet and found that almost all the bariatric surgeons advised not doing the sleeve while on the medicine. After meeting with Dr. Sadek, he explained the increased risks of doing the surgery while on Plavix, but NEVER advised against it. He consulted with my cardiologist and advocated the benefits of doing the sleeve before my cardiac condition worsened.

I am proud to say that the surgery was successful, being on Plavix had no effect on the outcome.

I cannot thank Dr. Sadek enough for taking the chance on me and doing what no one else would.

My wife and I agree that he is not only a skilled surgeon, he is a kind and caring person with the patience of a saint. He responds to all questions and concerns in a timely manner and has always made himself available to my entire family.
