Dr sadek and staff really rate far above the shown 5 stars. Exceptionally intelligent, wonderful &compasionate and respectful, i had a massive hernia that no one was aware of but he took time to fix that as well while doing my sleeve. Sheila fights battles everyday with insurance companys who only know the word " no". I am forever indebted and will prove to not be a waste of time. I was lucky that fate brought me to him.

Virtually the best doctor that i have had the pleasure of meeting (his staff as well). Prior to and after surgery, Dr. Sadek took care to explain everything to me about the process and what would be expected of me...Dr. Sadek also undertook the surgery because he believed that it would be a life saver for me and though he counts on me to make the changes needed to be one of the success stories, he never once was forceful and demeaning...Totally Love this guy and his way of practicing...KUDOS DR. SADEK...you are the best!!!

I had my Gastric Sleeve surgery last week. Throughout the entire process, from the first day I met Dr. Sadek, I felt ultimate assurance. The disposition of Dr. Sadek is calming, informative, nurturing and professional. During my wait time in his office, it was obvious to me that I was in the best hands by the conversations by patients. Dr. Sadek is thorough and always took the next step with me to assure me of my wellness. I have been to many physicians in my life, none compare to the confidence I feel while under Dr. Sadek's care.

I had my surgery one week ago and I feel great. I know I lost weight already and I feel great. I had a little pain but it was by far the best decision I made in my life. Dr. Sadek and his staff helped me and got me through this time in my life. I am looking forward to what is to come next in my life. Thanks Dr. Sadek. And thank you to my 10 other friends that had the procedure by Dr. Sadek and recommended him. I am too!

I strongly recommend Dr. Sadek to anyone that is considering the surgery. In a week , I have lost 10lbs , and I never felt happier with myself. It has changed my life for the best , and its the best decision I have done. I'm so excited to see the future result. Everyone in the office is great at their job. Amazing job!!!!!

Down 45 lbs in 3 months!!!
Dr. Sadek far exceeded my expectations. Pre-op, he was extremely patient and answered all my questions with appropriate detail. He wanted to ensure that I knew what to expect every step of the way and was comfortable. I have no complaints about the office staff who were very helpful in ensuring all the consults and insurance paperwork was appropriate. They are very easy to talk to and also very friendly.
Overall, I had and continue to have a wonderful experience in the care of Dr. Sadek.
I do recommend Dr. Sadek to anyone considering bariatric surgery.

Dr. Sadek has been wonderful. My experience pre-op and post-op with the office as well as Dr. Sadek has been seamless. He is always willing to answer any question you have and is very informative. I would recommend him to anyone.

He spoke to me at length about the procedure and took the time to answer my questions. Office staff is great as well. Everyone so supportive and encouraging. I had my surgery on may 6th 2014. Dr Sadek has seen me several times in his office and also called me at home to check on my recovery. He has given me a new life and I cannot thank him enough. I would highly recommend him to anyone interested in weight loss.

Four months ago today, i weighed 400 pounds.
On February 12, 2014 i started my Pre Gastric Sleeve Diet. This was 2 weeks of a torturous dieting and starvation. But I didn't look back; I was looking forward towards the good days I knew were ahead.
On Wednesday February 26, 9:30am, as I lay on the operating table at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in NJ, I gaze at the face of the great doctor Ragui W. Sadek as he hovers over me, thinking to myself, this is my life saver...... within 30 seconds I was out in a deep sleep.
The first time I met Dr. Sadek was at his Somerset, NJ office. I was taken aback a bit. He didn't talk much and he showed tremendous confidence, which was very reassuring to me. The man knows his stuff, I thought. Of course i came prepared with a background of information I researched prior to our meeting, which helped me better understand his conversation with me. In my case, I first needed to have my Gastric Lap Band, which I received way back in 2003, removed, in order for me to have the Revision to a Gastric Sleeve. It took some time to get a surgery date and I began with taking all the necessary tests to get the approval of my insurance.
I can say, the first surgery Dr. Sadek operated on me (lap band removal) was a breeze. I went home the same day, and didn't feel a thing. No gas! No pains! NOTHING! As the weeks passed by and the day of the Revision to a Gastric Sleeve surgery approached, we met one more time. For my second surgery (gastric sleeve) i was only 32 hours in the hospital. I got in on a Wednesday and by Friday I was back at work (office).
Dr. Sadek from day 1 was very friendly to me, always understanding, accommodating and with a warm smile. Rarely have I met such a well-mannered, good spirited man; a class act. He is young, energetic and with a good heart.
I asked one of the hospital nurses familiar with Dr. Sadek how many surgeries he does on average per week, she answered “between 11 and 12.” On another occasion I told Dr. Sadek "your office is like a factory" in which he replied "I like to call it “saving people's lives.” Indeed he is right!
Dr. Sadek and his wonderful team saved my life and guided me with exceptional care the entire time through, and continue doing so today. I highly recommend him.
With the Grace of God, I am happy to report that today - 4 months after surgery - i have already lost 80 pounds.
