Peter Henderson Bariatric Surgeon M.D., F.A.C.S.

My first impression of Dr. Henderson was great. What I liked about Dr Henderson was when I asked him questions, he didn't have to think about the question. He answered right away. I asked him to elaborate on his training and how he got interested in Gastric By-pass. He was very accomodating. He explained the procedure completely and encouraged me to ask any other questiones I may have now or in the future. The Staff (Paige, Cheryl, and Sandy) all get a GOLD STAR. They made me feel very welcomed and was sensitive to my situation. YOu can tell alot about the Doctor by the way their staff treats you. I was very impressed. = )

I haven't meet DR.HENDERSON yet but a i have heard rave reviews about him. I am in the process of switching to him from another surgeon. I have already been APPROVED by my insurance since Dec.2002 and i was told by my insuance today 01/21/03 that everything would transfer over to DR.HENDERSON and all that would have to be done is update my information at DR.HENDERSONS office.

My first impression of Dr.Henderson was very good.He had done surgery on my son and I was very pleased with him.His office staff are very nice people.Dr.Henderson is a very nice Dr.and I feel like if anyhting goes wrong Dr.Henderson can fix it.I have just had this attitude about him that I like.His office staff are very nice people and they will try their best to help you with anything.He has strongly address the risk of the surgery.I hope Dr. Henderson will be able to help someone else who wants the surgery done to help them get the surgery.

My first impression of Dr. Henderson was that he is a very caring person. He enjoys what he is doing to help people lose weight. He takes his time and answers any questions you may have and is very thorogh. The office staff is equally helpful and always answered my questions. I think that you should know that he is serious about the knowledge you have of the surgery and postop care. He wants to make sure that you understand exactly what's expected of you. He is great with his follow up visits and is ready to answer any questions about that also. He tells you exactly what the risks are with this surgery and tells you what the outcome of his patients have been. I would say that Dr. Henderson is an excellent doctor and surgeon. My incision looks absolutely great. He is number one in my book. Michelle Johnson

I found Dr. Henderson to be very patient and very
thorough when explaining this surgery to me
or when answering my questions. Dr. Henderson
and his partner, Dr. Kent, attend our local
suuport group on a monthly basis, so they are
definitely not the type of doctors that forget
about you after the surgey is completed. The
office staff is excellent and were very kind
and tolerant of my "pestering them" with
insurance questions. I can't begin to say
enough good things about Dr. Henderson. I would
highy recommend him or Dr. Kent.

DR. HENDERSON WAS VERY INFORMATIVE, AND PLAYED A BIG ROLE IN MY DECISION TO HAVE THE LAPROSCOPIC SURGERY.

GREW TO LIKE HIM AND FEEL MORE COMFORTABLE WITH HIM MORE AND MORE.

I have to say that my impression of Dr. Hendrson is a good one. He is more than willing to answer and encourages you to ask questions. was friendly, and straight forward with his answers. All of the office staff whom I have meet have bee very pleasent and helpful. I have made several calls to them on differnt occasions and they are always willig to help or fnd someone who can! At my preop the aftercare program was reviewed with me and I found it to be good and pretty much what I expected. I found that since I am over 4 hours away everyone seemed more than willing to be sure that they helped to get as much in at every visit as possible, and I liked that. Overall,I like everyne in the office and feel that they are all nie peole who are very well quaified!

I found him a very friendly, willing to answer my questions... basically i got a good feeling from him. His office staff are a good staff..There really isnt anything i didnt like about doctor Henderson... He has an aftercare plan. before you ever see him he sends you an information packet.. So far it has been a good experience.

Dr. Henderson is very abrupt and to the point my first impression was great. He answered all of my questions. I am looking so forward to being able to live a normal life again.

Dr. Henderson is kind, straight forward and seems to have a sense of humor. I feel like he is competent and I will be in good hands.
The staff is friendly and on the ball. The visit didn't take very long. I have already had a Gall Bladder scan, have a surgery date,
a psycological evaluation date and a pre-op
visit with Dr. Henderson scheduled. Insurance approval has been applied for, but I haven't heard back for sure on it.
I don't know yet about aftercare. I am planning to ask at my next visit. The form you fill out before meeting with the Dr. provides alot of information. They also give you a handbook with this form that answers alot of questions as well as addressing the risks.
