Peter Henderson Bariatric Surgeon M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Henderson has been a godsend to me. He and his office staff have been great from the first visit and continue to be supportive duirng the past two years post-op. I would highly recommend him to anyone interested in lap band surgery. His practice highly suggests joining a support group and getting involved with a group of motivated weight loss members.

I'm very very pleased with my surgeon and all his office staff. Of course, I've seen a different side of both surgeons than most people get to see.......Celebration....he he.

I absolutely love Dr Henderson. He is extremely competent and caring.rn His office staff is wonderful and try to help as much as possible.They are always eager to talk with you and help any way you need it. He lets you know all the risks involved and never pressures you either way. rn Over all I rate him as a definite 10 on a scale of 1 to 10.rn His bedside manner is equally matched o his surgical competence, and both are top of the line.rn I would choose him again in a heartbeat.

I went to .Dr. Henderson after i had the rny in Augusta for the follow up care program they offer.I was very impressed with the Doctors and the office staff,they are very caring and compassionate,i will be using them from here out.

I met Dr. Henderson on Wed. Dec. 28, 2005 for the first time. He was so very nice, and answered all of my questions and my husbands questions. I didn't feel rushed at all, and he took his time and chatted with us. I was scared at first as we all are, but he put my mind at ease. I also met Sandra, PA at this time as well. A very nice lady, you could also tell she was a very caring person. I am so thankful that he is going to take my case on. I have tri care standard, and there a cheap ins. company, but because he and Dr. Kent from what I remember are both former military, so they both give back, and trust me for what the ins. company will allow they are truly giving back to us. You don't find to many doctors like that. I spoke with a couple of the other staff and they were just as friendly and helpful. Anytime I have called they always take the time to answer my questions. I will answer more of these questions as I get to know Dr. Henderson, but so far I am very pleased.

He isn't very chatty; you have to ask for information. He is, however, a wonderful surgeon. He has an extensive aftercare program, and that was very important to me.

I had heard that Dr.Peter Henderson was the best in our area for weightloss surgery and that he was very nice and had a great bedside manner,well, I was disappointed. He was great. I couldn't have asked for a nicer doctor and his office staff are the best, especially Ginger and Laura, and I can't leave Sandra out, she was great too!

I think Dr. Henderson is a very good surgeon. He has a good bedside manor. He checks in on you in the hospital. He makes a very neat incesion. It only took him 1 1/2 hours to do a RNY bypass. I had no complications. I would recommend him to anyone concidering the surgery.

I knew Dr. Henderson from previous. I took care of several of his patients. He is a ver caring and dedicated doctor. He express that same attitude toward me as a nurse and patient. The office layout is perfect. It's not like a regular office the chairs are large and comfortable to fit all sizes. I think his staff is OUTSTANDING. Sandra his PA and everyone is so kind and understanding. They made me feel at ease and that was GREAT! I am one week post op today. I am scheduled to return in six weeks. Sandra called me on the day after surgery to make sure that everything was okay. The front desk also called to schedule my f/u appointment. I know that if there is a problem I can call them and they will help. This is so important to patients knowing that someone is there. I was made aware of the risks but I wasn't afraid. I felt really confident that everything would be okay and it was. I would rate the whole team as 10+++.
This team has it all surgical competence and great bedside manner.
