One of the nicest guys... Willing to even give a big guy like me a hug.. Thats what it is all about, that family feeling.
I met with him on my consul, was able to answer all questions.
I was like wow, had done over 1200 wls...You talking about wanting the best, i got the best right here.
Dr. Vig. is awesome. Very caring and huggy.
He tells it like it is and the after care is fairly good.
First impression, I honestly wasn't so sure about him. I was wrong! He has been fabulous. He always answers my question/concerns. The staff at Barix is great. They place high emphesis on followup care. I was very well prepared for surgery and would recommend Dr. Vig & the Barix clinic to anyone.
Dr. Viglinico was absoultely WONDERFUL! He is very kind and truly cares for his patients. I found him to be very throuogh in my preconsult and by the time I left I was completely at ease with him. He gives his patients hugs and it is easy to see that he truly cares. His knowledge and expertise in bariatric surgery was outstanding. I have been researching this surgery for 2 years now and was close to having it done from another place and doctor but I am glad I waited and found Dr Viglinico. I just got approval from my insurance and know am waiting for the surgery date to be scheduled. The staff at barix clinic has been outstanding. They truly do care for their patients and are very complete in their care. The clinic's program is the best I have seen and trust me I have looked at them all in Ohio. Very structured and complete. The facility was amazing I was really impressed by everything. On a scale from 1-10 I would give Dr Viglinico a 20+. Go see him if you are considering this surgery you will be glad you did.
My 1st impression of Dr. Vig was he was a stright to the point kind of doctor, but very compassionate towards his patients.
That has never changed.
Dr. Vig's staff are all wonderfull.
There is nothing I don't like about Dr. Vig. My husband and son like him too, now you can't beat that!!
Future patients should know he is the best there is. Over 900 surgeries to date, in the business over 17 years.
Aftercare is a must w/ Dr. Vig. It is structured.
Dr Vig was straight to the point about risks and after effects.
I would rate Dr. Vig a 15 on a scale of 1-10.
Both are outstanding, Dr. Vig's competence and manner have surpassed my greatest hopes. He is the greatest!!!!!:)

He is a nice sugeron and great lister. He also understand obese patients. Also he really care about your healing after the surgery and he makes sure to communicate with your primary doctor.
Pre-Op- Dr. Viglianco was very professional and very informative. He didn't make me feel rushed through my consultation at all. He really pointed out the importance of aftercare and offered any and all help the facilty offers. He listed the risks as well as benefits of surgery without making me feel pressured or swayed. The staff is out of this world. Everyone I have been in contact with treats me as though I am their only client. Considering I have only really had one experience in the facility thus far, I will be sure to change my response if I experience any negative situations along my journey.
Post-Op- I could not be happier with my surgeon and the staff at Barix Clinics in Groveport, Ohio. Their attention to detail and caring bedside manner is phenominal!
My first impression was that he was very busy, professional and to the point. My impression over time revealed that he is caring and very competent.
The staff was excellent.
There is nothing negative that I could say about Dr. Vig or the staff. All were excellent.
The Barix family stresses aftercare more than anyting, expecially diet and communication if anything goes wrong.
All risks (both mentally and physically)were discussed to make sure I really was willing to change my lifestyle.
I rate my surgeon very good.
Both surgical competence and bedside manner were good.
At first he was what seemed a little dry, by the end of my consulation, I loved him and still do he is great. The staff at BTC is nothing less than exceptional I love them all and have made visits just to see the nurses who took care of me post op. The only down fall about BTC is that they get so far behind schedule for post op visits.
