When I first met Dr. Dabideen, I thought he will never think I was the right canidate for this surgery! But, he was helpful and put me at ease.

The staff at the office was very helpful and empathic, I even met a lady at the office that had just had her surgery 3 weeks before my appointment and she gave me some very encouraging words and let me know that this is the best thing that I'am doing for myself!

Just a note that Chuck in the insurance department is great, he keep me informed on the length of time it would take for my approval and said that I didn't have thing to worry about and I didn't! AWESOME!!

Dr. Dabideen is great. He was straight forward
with all he said. He made it clear all the risks
involved with the surgery. He is a trauma surgeon
at Hurley and seems very capable. I am very comfortable
with him as my surgeon. He was not hurried and answered
all my questions.

I had two surgeons, Dr. Dabideen and Dr. Obead. I have enjoyed them both. The only beef that I had is that when I go to the office for an appointment I would have to wait for over an hour sometimes two to see the Dr. Now I schedule my appointments at 8:30 AM so there is no waiting. I spent ten days in the hospital due to infections and both of the doctors were great. Dr. Obead and I had a little disagreement because he wanted me to stay another day and I was ready to go home. Luckily we comprimised, I was able to go home on day ten as long as I had blood work done the next morning and came back to the office that day. They are both a pleasure to see.

I have decided to change my doctor to Hurley medical center the doctor is a trama surgeon this was a long and hard decision to make. I was very impressed with the doc and the staff, especially Chuck who handles putting together your profile and submit it to the insurance company, although this is a new program I am impressed with the intensity of the staff's belief in this program

My husband and I met with Dr Dabideen and his staff, and it was a very
positive and informative meeting. Doctor answered all our questions completely
and simply. He emphazied and stressed a great deal about the risks and possible
complications.(any type of surgery has its risk and complications.) I feel very
confident in this man because of his education,creditials, & experience. He has
had 20 yrs experience as a trauma surgeon, which he repairs pts. who have suffered
some type of trauma injury(ie accidents,stabbing etc). The counselor, nutritionist
we met with gave us the information about the post care, diet, the importance of
complying with all aspects of recovery and how important it is be successful.

I went to this meeting prepared with answering completely all questions on the
questionaire along with copies of any and all medical records I was able to get.
I also had a letter of medical need from my medical doctor whom I ve worked with for
the past fours years. She documented my trials of weight loss and health problems I
have had. Dr. Dabideen was please with my prep. for the meeting. I would HIGHLY
recommend Hurley Center for Comprehensive Weight Loss in Flint Michigan. Its associated

Very Kind and spent lots of time answering questions. Had never preformed this surgery yet, as this was a new program at Hurley.

I was very impressed with Dr. Dabideen! He spoke to me and my husband for a very long time. Answered all of our questions and totally put me at ease! He was not in a hurry to get on with it and remained relaxed and relaxing throughout the entire visit.
The rest of the staff at Hurley was also wonderful! The counselor who had the surgery herself was very helpful. When she told her story it was like she was telling about my life. She was very honest about what the surgery has meant to her and how it has changed her life.
Allison and Chuck were great too! Allison gathered all of my medical records, made phone calls and basically put it all together for BC/BS. Chuck was able to submit all this to BC/BS and within 6 weeks had me approved.
The Hurley Center for Comprhensive Weight Loss hasn't been in Flint too long, but they will soon be considered one of the best centers with the wonderful staff they have.
