So far the one meeting I had with Dr Johnson was great. He's such a kind person. I was worried because surgeons have a bad rep about being rude and he was the complete opposite. rnrnDr. Johnson is wonderful. He was so nice to me and my family. The surgery was very smooth. So he must know what he's doing. He stressed the aftercare part very much. He made sure I understood how to take care of my self post-op. I'd rate him a 10.

I just met Dr. Johnson for the first time yesterday (02.02.06) and let me tell you, he's just as kind and great as everyone says he is. He went over everything I needed to know and also so did two of his nurses so you are really prepaired for what's going to happen with your body and new lifestyle. He addressed all risks and complications from the surgery that are possible as well as things that can be done to correct/fix problems that may/could come up with having any surgery muchless WLS. I have no yet had my surgery so I haven't spent to much TIME with him yet.. but I will come back with a review after surgery! :)

Dr.Johnson is awesome. I have known him for several years. My mother used to work for him .His office staff is very professinal. He is very caring and takes his time with you also tells it like it is. after care is very important and he lets you know this up front. Yes they have a very good after care program. He was very open about the risks of surgery.I would give Dr. Johnson a ten on a scale of one to ten with ten being the highest. Both are great to have and he has both.

I think Dr. Johnson is the best. I think everyone at this clinic is very caring and is very willing to help with any questions that you might have. The aftercare program is very important and you must follow it! Dr. Johnson explained all the risks about the surgery and really took the time for me. I think he is a very caring man and a great Dr.!

My first impression of Dr. Johnson was that he was kind and very much a gentleman. I have also been happy with all of the staff I have encountered. If I had to choose one thing I like least it would probably be that he is overly thorough (but I was very well-educated and knowledgeable before my surgery).

I never felt that he rushed me, or was hurried (though I have sometimes felt a little that way with the nurse clinicians who work with him). The aftercare program is very structured, and Dr. Johnson expects you to make a lifelong commitment to it. The risks were well-addressed prior to surgery (several times). I would rate him top-notch overall, in both surgical skill and bedside manner. Even the nurses checking me into surgery were saying "wow, you chose a great surgeon...he's the best". I concur!

My first impression of Dr Johnson was formed at the Information Meeting. I liked him immediately! He was very soft spoken and approachable.

When I has the surgeons meeting, Dr Johnson was very kind and patient with me . He answered all of my questions and never seemed rushed. He stressed the after care program. He explained all of the possible complications and made it clear that my success depended upon me and my following the program.

I feel very comfortable putting myself in Dr Johnson's hands.

Dr Johnson was awesome! I had a couple of problems after the surgery and he was wonderful and patient. He took fabulous care of me and always made me feel important. He was always concerned and never rushed. I am very glad I chose him for my doctor!

I initially met with Dr. Johnson in 9/04 to discuss if I can even have this surgery. He was very open to me about the risks/complications. He said he would not truly know if I can have this surgery until I am under the knife. It all depends on how much scar tissue I have from prior surgeries. He advised me to consult with my doctor who performed my gallbladder surgery in 3/03 to see what she thinks. I really liked him and respected his honesty. The staff at the Bariatric Center has been wonderful. They are very on top of things and I feel very confident in having Dr. Johnson take care of me.
