Apparao Vanguri Bariatric Surgeon M.D., F.A.C.S.

I first meet Dr. Vanguri at his support group, I was glad that he attends his support group meetings. He was able to answer any questions you would have, and go over the wls. He seemed to be a very friendly and personable doctor. Also, very knowledgeble and experienced. His office staff was very kind and helpful, too.

VERY NICE.ONLY SEEN HIM 2 TIMES.THE STAFF WAS VERY SUPPORTIVE.THE LEASED I LIKED WAS NOT SPEAKING A LITLE LONGER.I WOULD RECOMMED HIM BECAUSE IT WAS NOT LIKE PEOPLE SAY ABOUT TAKING SO LONG OR THEM NOT BEING AWARE OF INSURANCE PROBLEMS . THEY TOOK CARE OF EVERYTHING .VERY MUCH SO. THEY SAY IT IS ALL UP TO HOW I CAN TAKE CARE OF MY SELF.I GO FOR THE AFTERCARE PROGRAM CONCILTATION ONTHE 26 TH.

seems to be nice talked w/about 5 minutes. iwill see him for the second time on oct.14th. the first time was on april 10 th 2004. the staff was absolutely fabulous,in helping me.cant say i have only met him one time and it was breif. the staff has been doing all the paper work.let you know more after the 14th and after surgery.

I had heard from him from someone I know and he did her surgery. I felt he was very professional and really seem to care about helping me. He is taking care of my after care, and his staff is very helpful.

Dr. V is very warm and kind. He is very informative and I believe he puts patient care and after care first. I have complate confidence in him.
Dr. V's staff members are as warm and kind as he is and I have complete confidence in them also.
Future patients should plan to be patient but be comforted with the knowledge that the wait is worth it. The patient he is with is the only patient in the world. He does not rush you along.
The monthly support groups are very informitive and everyone is very supportive and eager to answer questions and address any issue that comes up.
Dr V is a 10! His staff is also a 10! I'm looking forward to a long happy relationship with them.

Good, no complaints

So far my first impression is that he is a very sweet and careing professional. He was honest with me about every question I asked. It was hard to get an appointment becasue he is so popular. The staff is wonderful. I can't wait to get my date! I have a date now, and Doctor Vanguri's office has been wonderful! I will let you know more soon. My date is September 29, 2004. Keep your fingers crossed and your prayers up!!!

My first impression of Dr. Vanguri was a very pleasant one. He was very soft-spoken yet I felt welcome and very much at ease. My impression only got better. I have been his patient for over 10 yrs now, and I have grown to adore him... he has quite a sense of humor once you get to know him. He's a very gentle soul and very knowledgeable. The office staff is wonderful. I liked least that I had to wait months in advance to get an appt. Future patients should know that they will have to be patient (pardon the pun), as it can take a long time to get an appt, and a long time in the waiting room... don't count on your scheduled appt being on time. However, they will be in good hands with Dr. V and his staff. Dr. V emphasizes after-care and encourages seeing him at least once a year after several years out. I'm not sure if he has a structured aftercare program, but I do know that he has a nutritionist on hand who also had the surgery about 5 or so yrs ago. Dr. V did address the risks of surgery. Overall, I would rate Dr. Vanguri as a 9 out of 10. I think he is extremely competent and has a decent bedside manner.

I adore him and think anyone else would as well.

I absolutely love Dr. Vanguri he has changed my life with this surgery. No problems. His office staff is wonderful especially Sue the receptionist.

Dr. Vanguri really does expect you to follow up for aftercare. He has monthly meetings for you to attend if you choose to with any questions and concerns and he acutally goes to the meetings.

I am so glad I chose Dr. Vanguri. He is so wonderful.

The pre-op and post-patients were very friendly and encouragable. The staff (Sue and Beverly) were very pleasant and kind. I fell very confident in Dr. Vanguri, and i can't wait until my surgery. The negative side was the waiting until you see Dr. Vanguri. Hopefully, my next appointment won't be as long.
