1/08/03- Have consult with Dr. Rose on 1/14/03- Already know her from my niece using her so I am already sure I will like her. I know I like how she deals with the family and that means a lot.
<p align="left"> 1/15/03 Met with Dr. Rose yesterday. My husband and I were very impressed with how the program was done. They put the entire group of patients that have appointments in a conference room and then Britteny goes over insurance in depth including the approximate wait time. She's very knowledgeable and gave for instances on specific insurances on the patients that were there. Then Dr. Rose herself came in and went over in good detail what surgery entails, possible complications and the lifestyle changes we face. Then she met with each patient one on one, and went into more depth individually case by case. She answered my questions honestly and was very firm in her manner. She believes in aftercare for life and the whole office is involved in patient care. They are all very knowledgeable as well as caring. I am so sure I chose the right surgeon. My only complaint is that if they keep growing like they seem to be they are going to need a bigger office and conference room. It was packed yesterday!

Dr. Rose and her staff have been wonderful to me. Their care and concern about you makes this journey much easier. When you walk in the door you know immediately, that this is one place you will not be judged because of your weight. Brittani and Judy are always ready to answer a question, no matter how silly you make think it is...(they don't!). Dr. Rose is extremely professsional and her bedside manner is wonderful. She is very easy to talk to and willing to answer my gazillion questions :). She also explains the surgery so that the lay person can easily understand what is going to be happening to them. I would highly recommend Dr. Rose to anyone who is considering this surgery.

I've only met her once but I really like her. She is young, very professional, but a little timid. Her staff is very helpful in all aspects of pre and post op care. All risks are covered in depth as a possible warning but not scare tactic. Like I said I've only met her once but I feel at ease knowing she may be preforming my WLS.

After meeting Dr. Rose again in pre-op, my trust in her has amplified. I realise now that what I thought was timidness is only a calm, sereal manerism she carries with her.
She is very strait forward. She always looks you directly in the eyes. I love Britney (secretary/nutrition) and Judy (program nurse).

Today I met Dr. Amy Rose when I went for my consult...such an impressive young lady...very concerned, compassionate, caring, cute, and competent! All C's used to describe her, but I have the feeling I she will get an A when it comes to doing my surgery! Also met with Dr. Teater, the psychologist...a very bright young lady who gave me alot of insight into some of the "hills to climb"...We were also given a detailed handout that explains everything..They call it "our WLS Bible"...Judy, the nurse who seems to keep it all together for the staff and the personable Brittany who knows the insurance stuff backwards and forwards...This group believes in education and aftercare and they encourage questions we may have at any point, pre-op, post-op or anytime we feel unsure of what is going on or exactly what we need to do...what a wonderful safety net when there comes a time that we aren't sure of what's we need to do...Truly I believe God has lead me to this fantastic group of people who will direct me in my journey to a healthier, happier, and more fulfilling life!

Dr. Rose has been wonderful. You here people say "Oh this Dr. really cares", well I believe she really does. Even the nurses at the hospital say she is wonderful. She came to see me two times a day at the hospital. I went out of network to use her and I am so glad that I did, she is well worth the extra money.

Have not had Appointment yet. Office personell and Nurse practiononer are very nice, knowledgeable, professional and helpful. The booklet they sent is very informative and easy to understand.
Met Dr Rose Nov 2001 she is very nice and very thorough. I am very excited!
Aftercare is the most important aspect of the surgery. She has a program for aftercare.
She mentioned the risks, and I had to have a filter put in my vena cava to prevent clots from speading to my lungs brain, etc.
Dr Rose is a great Dr so far.

Dr. Rose and her staff are great. Brian (Live Light program director) was great and very personable. I went for my consult on 2-5-02 and they sent off the letter to the insurance company on 2-8-02. I would highly recommend Dr. Rose to anyone. Her demeanor and statistics are wonderful.
** Update **
