Amit Trivedi Bariatric Surgeon MD

About 1 1/2 years ago I had the pleasure of meeting Dr.Trivedi. I had just started working on their bariactric unit @ humc, I saw him and I pulled him to the side and asked him about the lap band surgery. He was so down to earth, kind , friendly, and knowledgable. I knew I could trust this man with my life. I've seen his patients when they come up from the OR and have been able to see how they recover before they go home. I am now 7 days post op and I feel great btw I'm down 16 lbs already.

I only saw him briefly when I first went to the surgical admitting suites. After that I never saw him...lol. I was seen and released by his partner in the operating room. I will be seeing Dr. Trivedi on Jan 29th for my first adjustment to my lap band.

My Surgeon was Dr Trivedi, I found him to be Pleasant, informative, and matter of fact. The office staff seemed hurried, and I think that is because demand is so high for thier services. The waiting area in the office is unpleasant, With many many morbidly obese people, you would think the chairs would be larger or at least you wouldn't seem so cramped. The information they give is is informative, and there are required visits to the office. The mandatory(but included) nutrionist visit is a plus, but she only is there once a week and at 4:00. I was pleasantly surprise how quickly I recovered, with no complications, My surgeon visted me and answered my questions and even asked my husband if he had any questions. I highly recommend the Hospital and Dr Trivedi, and do, to friends and people who ask. He is a most accomplished surgeon and has a wonderful, pleasant bedside manner.

He was wonderful! He is so sweet and understanding and he explained everything completely! His staff was very helpful, especially in getting my PATs sent over in time because there were some complications because of the lab. I would give him a 9...only because I dont want to jinx it!

Dr. Trivedi is absolutely great! He was very supportive. Even when I was beginning to freak out in the OR. He made me feel that this was to improve my health and everything was going to be ok.

Dr Trivedi was great. He made me feel very at ease. He explained the procedure thoroughly and allowed time for any questions. I highly recommend Advanced Laparoscopic Associates. The physicians and staff are terrific. They also provide very good after surgery care. They can always be reached for questions or concerns.

when i first met with Dr. trivedi he came across like a nice soft spoken man who was concerned about my problems. he answered all my questions regarding the surgery and explained to me all of the pros and cons of the surgery which in return put my mind at ease. I'm very happy I chose him although the other Dr.s are great but he was just the right one for me. So far today all is going well and i thank God and Dr. Trivedi . May God keep blessing him so he can keep changing peoples life.

I have seen a couple of surgeons to perfrom WLS on me. And after a couple of insurance mishaps with one I decided to see Dr. Trivedi.rnHe was WONDERFUL, a true gem! His mannerism and professionalism is unsurpassed. He also is highly qualified with many years experience and successful sugeries. I knew I was in good hands. After my first visit with him I got my long awaited approval from Aetna. I believe it was a sign for me to go to him.

My first impression of Dr. Trevedi was that he is a very soft spoken kind person and he truly listenend to my concerns and took his time to answer every question. The office itself seems busy and I had a chance to see Kathleen the nurse giving a post op class and I think she is amazing and very informative, she had WLS and knows exactly what we are going through. The aftercare program seems to be very good from what I can tell so far.
