I first met Dr. Trivedi at a seminar that was offered at Hackensack University Medical Center. He was very receptive and open to the questions that I asked him, and took the time to answer all the questions that I had without rushing me.
Dr. Trivedi's office staff is very friendly, and worked with me to help get approval for the surgery.
Patient's should know that all of the surgeons at Advanced Laprascopic Associates have the patient's best interest at heart. They've been doing these kinds of surgeries for a very long time, and I put my full trust in them.
Aftercare is an extremely important part of the surgical process. I had my surgery on the 22nd of December, 2010, and met with an RN the week after surgery to go over the post-op meal plan and any questions or concerns that I might have.
Dr. Trivedi was very frank about the risks of surgery, and explained everything that I might encounter in the post-surgical process.
Dr Trivedi had strong surgical competence and a good bedside manner. I would rate Dr Trivedi with a 9/10.
After working with Dr T and all the bariatric surgeons at HUMC for 3 years, I knew that Dr T was the right surgeon for me! He took the time to answer every question that I had and he is very easy to talk to. I felt comfortable asking him ANYTHING and he told me the truth! And he took the time to answer any questions that my husband and my family had!
Dr. Trivedi was wonderful! He was very warm, caring and understanding. He took the time to answer all my questions prior to my surgery (and I had a LOT!). Before I went into the OR he came up to see how I was feeling and if I had any last minute questions. Every time I spoke to him he was confident, reassuring and knowledgeable. I always felt like I was in excellent hands with him. I would recommend him unconditionally.
In addition, all the staff at ALA in Paramus was excellent. My surgical coordinator, Louisa, went above and beyond to help me organize all my pre-op info and insurance requirements. I was extremely happy with the service I received throughout the entire process. The aftercare program at ALA is top notch. They take care of you not only immediately after surgery, but for life.
Very nice, personable and told it like it was, he didn't sugar coat anything.rnrnMy impression has not changed other than I got to see and hear what a nice man he is.rnrnThe staff has been quite helpful so far.rnrnHaven't disliked anything.rnrnDr. Trivedi doesn't try to convince you go a path your not wanting to take, he tells it like it is and lets you make up your mind.rnrnDr. Trivedi as well as his entire staff are very careful to make sure that your aftercare is taken care of, including hour long post op meeting to go over your diet and care. They even have a full time nutritionist on staff that is free of charge to you for life.rnrnThe risks of surgery were given to me as they are - not sugar coated either.rnrnSo far I rate Dr. Trevedi a 10!rnrnSurgical competence although very imporatant, I wouildn't be able to deal with a doc with no bedside manner.
I went to a seminar at HUMC where all three doctors of Advanced Laproscopic Associates spoke. For some reason, Dr Trivedi seemed like the right doctor for me. After meeting him a week later on a one on one meeting, I felt very at ease with him. I had researched several other doctors and was impressed with ALA's staff and especially Dr. Trivedi. I also liked their follow-up program and it was a bonus that their office was only 10 min from me.
I will update this as I go through the process.
My first impression of Dr. Trivedi was that he was very skilled and understanding of my position. He had an initial consult during which he showed me the entire procedure on a powerpoint presentation and with plastic models of the anatomy and explained in detail what would happen. He showed understanding of my frustration over my failed attempts to stay on a restricted diet and explained why physically this was happening. He was very clear, compassionate and really put me at ease. My post-op office visit went well and I am healing very well. I think that the overall integrated program they have set up for introductory seminars, counselling, follow-up and support is great.
MY FIRST IMPRESSION OF HIM WAS THAT HE IS EXTREMELY SMART, HAS AN EXCELLANT BEDSIDE MANNER,AND TRUELY UNDERSTANDS HOW OBESITY IMPACTS YOUR LIFE, HE TAKES TIME TO EXPLAIN THINGS AND IS VERY SUPPORTIVE AND UNDERSTANDING, I WOULD RATE HIM AS EXCELLANT.rnrnTHE OFFICE STAFF IS VERY BUSY BUT THEY FOCUS ON YOUR ISSUES AND ARE VERY FRIENDLY.rnrnI HAVE NO NEGATIVE COMMENTS ABOUT THE DOCTORS OR THEIR PRACTICE IT HAS BEEN A POSITIVE EXPERIANCE.rnrnFUTURE PATIENTS SHOULD KNOW THAT HE IS A KIND UNDERSTANDING PHYSICIAN.rnrnTHE AFTERCARE PROGRAM IS VERY STRUCTURED AND ORGANIZED.rnrnHE WAS UPFRONT ABOUT THE RISK OF THE SURGERY BUT ALSO PUT MY MIND TO EASErnrnI WOULD RATE HIM AS EXCELLANTrnrnHE DEMONSTRATESEXCELLANT SURGICAL COMPETENCE AND EXCELLANT BEDSIDE MANNER.rnTHESE ARE MY PERSONAL IMPRESSIONS OF MY OWN PERSONAL EXPERIANCE AND i AM MASKING NO STATEMENTS ABOUT WHAT OTHER PEOPLE MAY EXPERIANCE.
Dr Trievdi was very easy to talk to. He did not talk above me but in realative terms that i could understand. My surgery went great i had my post op visit today and everything was good to go .
