I would like to say that if you have a desire in your heart, to not take so long to follow it.
I, personally, prayed about my weight loss for years. It has limiited my activity as a young child but never stopped me. I was persistent in everything else BUT my weight.
I hit rockbottom and heard Dr. Andrei's message on Star 99.1 radio. I knew it was my time!
Following all the pre-procedures necessary, I've begin to have doubts even up to the last minute when the mask was going over my face. The peace of Christ rested on me and it was over.
The journey through this new transformation has been a blessing because of Dr.Andrei and his staff. With their love and support, I am confident to live my life with NO MORE LIMITS..
Dr. Andrei was a referral from a close friend. When I first meet Dr. Andrei, I was immediately impressed with him and his staff. He took the time to explain the risk and benifits of the surgery. Dr. Andrei, cares about his patients and he takes time out of his busy schedule to ensure you are getting the best care.
Dr. Andrei have a fantastic baratric team here at the office. Dr. Andrei did a great job on my surgery and it wasnt as bad as i thought. I was able to move around quicker than I could imagine and the pain of incesions was bearable. The was the best decision of my life and Iam so glad that I decided to get this done, I even have more energy and Ive only lost over 50 pounds so far. I would like to personally thank Pamela for guiding be through the food groups and making sure I get all that I need when it comes to eating right and chewing, also Mr. Andy was a great support calling and checking one me. Overall the staff was great and I thank everyone from the bottom of my heart.
I was truely blessed to have found Dr Andrei. I heard about him on a Christian radio station. My experence with Dr Andrei has really been a blessing. He is more oncern about you as a patient than as a doctor just wanting to say he did the surgery. The office staff are very professional and kind and friendly. I am very satisfied with the total overall experence.
Dr. Andrei is exact;y what I wanted in a surgeon: honest, confident and great at what he does.
I had VSG surgery on 1/31/13. I will be honest, there was more pain than I expected. But, nothing I could not live with and I knew it would get better. I am a month out, and feel wonderful.
Dr. Andrei's staff's professionalism, warmth and availability are just top notch. They made sure I knew what steps I needed to complete and helped me schedule and cross each one off my to do list. Pamela, the nutritionist could not be any more wonderful! She is positive, honest and will tirelessly answer any and every question. The office staff overall are the best I have ever dealt with.
After surgery, Andy called twice a day to make sure I was feeling ok. He would answer any questions or concerns and that is a huge relief it was good to know that any pain I was having was normal. After care program is wonderful too. I have been going weekly to talk to Pamela, advancing my diet slowly and finding out exactly what I can eat and how much. The sample menus she provides are a great help.
I walked into this knowing what I wanted and willing to do what I am told. I recognize that this is just a tool and at the end of the day, the level of my success is really up to me. I am so glad that they care, that they follow me so closely and that I know if I have a question or concern, they will address it ASAP.
Dr. Andrei, like most surgeons is not the most warm and friendly guy. However, everyone I asked, and I agree said he was the best. I would much rather a Dr who is the best at what he does then a Dr who will be my buddy. I trusted him, his program and I am so glad I did.
From before care, surgical care and especially after care, I could not be ANY happier with Dr Andrei and his staff.
Im here again on Feb. 26, 2013 - I have my ups and downs with my band and then decided to remove the band and get the sleeve done. Everything went well with the removal of the band. Waiting for the surgery for my sleeve was so exciting - finally did it and it has truly changed my life. I have lost 21 lbs and feeling great - alil set back in the hospital but after that smooth sailing and having Dr. Andrei as a doctor and his team have made my journey so well worth it. My life has become more positive and happy and I have the support of my family and dr. andrei team that has been heaven sent. My dietican and tech have been there every step of the way and i love the phone calls of encouragement and follow-up. All i can say is thank you so much for my life change and making it such an easy transition.
Well where should i start.....My journey begins with making my decision to actually have surgery to help me get my life back. When i stepped foot in Dr. Andrei office it was like an instant feeling I had come to the right place. I was greeted with open arms from the staff they basically take me in as they knew me forever. I never once felt ii was making the wrong choice, from the receptionist to the appointment specialists and down to the XRay Tech, Dietician and especially the doctor. I could not have asked for one of my biggest decisions in life to be and feel so right, they all prepared me so very much for everything before surgery and after surgery have been wonderful.
As i continue on my journey to success I am so very happy to have Dr. Andrei by my side and especially my Dietician and Xray tech to follow me thru this....i will always stay connected to a new family i have embraced for helping get my second life back>>>thank you all of u and u all know who u are here in dr. andrei office...fyi...i have recommended two other patients and they love it tooo...
i am really impressd with the way the staff treated me from start to finish everyone is pleasant and courtious. i honestly don't have 1 complaint about this staff sincerly me
I've read reviews of other doctors and looked at several youtube videos regarding the surgery itself, I am very pleased with the way my surgery has gone. Dr. Andrei was clear to let me know that the surgery choice was mine but very forthcoming about the risks of each type. I had appointments with doctors to make sure every area was covered before my surgery and the staff starts their involvement with your success months before the surgery. To be honest, it feels like the actual surgery was the easiest part, learning to adapt to a new lifestyle is the hardest part. It's true that the surgery is a tool and Dr. Andrei was clear the behavior modification is the key to it's success.
I was amazed at how little pain I endured after surgery. Several hospital staff noted that Dr. Andrei's patients have significantly greater success, and that is due to the attentiveness he and his staff offer. In the hospital and after, they will continue to call you and set regular appointments to guide you. It really is a good thing because you'll have questions.
This really hasn't been a negative experience, my only worry came from the need to reschedule surgery a couple times, you know just the anticipation, but other than that I'm happy I came here and really happy to find that Dr. Andrei is so well respected. Looking forward to getting better and better!
Valentine's Day and I look good and feel good thanks to Dr. Andrei and Staff. I can't say enough about how GREAT I feel after having the surgery. It will be a year in April and I am down 100 lbs.
I owe my gratitude to Dr. Andrei and staff, I just recommended him to my primary Dr.'s assistant, they can't believe how good I look!
Everyone in the office is exceptional I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. See you next month!
As of today's date January 18, 2013, I have lost 94 pounds and I feel GREAT!!! It hasn't been a year yet since my operation but will be there in April and I feel I will have lost 100 pounds by then. I want to thank Dr. Andrei and his staff for all the help they have given me and my son (who lost 130 pounds). To anyone considering this operation I would like to say a few things:
1. Make sure you find the right Dr. (Dr. Andrei).
2. Ensure they have a good staff. (Dr. Andrei's Staff)
3. Ask a lot of questions.
4. Follow up is the key.
Dr. Andrei and his office does all of the above, they treat you as if you are their family. I love them very much!

When I went to the office I could barely walk due to the arthritis in my knee but now almost 2 months after my surgery I am able to get up out of a chair easy and walk much better.
I would like to thank Dr. Andrei, Andy, Pamela, Allison, Sherry, Carrie and Shannon for their support and help. From day one when I went to the office to discuss having the procedure done everyone were understanding and answered all my concerns.
They helped me decided which procedure would be better for me. The support you get from the office staff and the surgical staff before during and after the procedure is very impressive.
Thank you Dr. Andrei for giving me back my healthy lifestyle. If anyone is considering having this surgery, I would definitely recommend Dr. Andrei.
My first impression of Dr. Andrei was that he was a caring doctor. He made me feel comfortable and relaxed while talking with me about the procedure. His staff is incredible! From day one they worked with me keeping me informed of the various tests and meetings that were required. I enjoyed attending the Saturday nutritional classes with Pam. Her method of instructions were not only helpful to be, but to my family also. January 24, 2013, I had the operation. I had no complications to complain about. I received a call everyday from Dr. Andrei's staff inquiring about my condition. I was so glad to inform them that I was doing great. I thank God for Dr. Andrei and his staff. I could not have done this without professional supervision and the great care they have shown and still provide.
