A year and a half post op and my weightloss continues to be the best decision i have ever made...thanks Dr. Andreiv and his excellent support staff.
I love Dr. Andrei, He has given me hope to lead a normal life. I have lost 30 pounds and have kept it off for over Three years. I have not been been feeling well and it is the only reason I have not lost the additional 80 pounds I have to take off. It is my own fault, but he incourages me to continue in the fight and it helped me to get on a excercise plan, and hopefully it will start paying off. I recommend him to everyone and always praise him to others. I owe him a big debt for making my life so much better then it was.
Dr. Andrei is my guardian Angel!!! He has given me back the ability to see a bright future without disease and pain. I had gastric bypass surgury 10 years ago. The surgen did the procedure and then left me to my own devices to lose the weight. Ater regaining 80 pounds and my self esteem plummeted I heard about Dr. Andrei on a christian radio station. Once I came to see him, he sent me for test which found that I had scar tissue that streched out and the lap band was placed in me by Dr. Andrei. I have since lost 33 pound which I keep off over three years and as of today lost another 9 pounds making the total lost 42. I would recommend Dr. Andrei to anyone and whenever the opportunity presents it's self do recommend him!!! If I would have found him in the first place 10 years ago I would not have gained the weight and would be at my goal weight by now. I truely love and admire Dr. Andrei and will be indebted to him forever!!!!
Dr. Andrei is a wonderful surgeon. What impressed me the most is that he and his staff walked me through this process and continue to be supportive at all times even after 3 years.
Hello everyone, Just want to give you an update on my progress. I came in for my monthly check up. Yes Dr. Andrei continues to check on his patients on a monthly basis. His staff is available to assist his patients all you have to do is call.
Since my surgery I have lost 50lbs. I had my surgery on 11/29/2012. I am active and in the gym. The staff is so friendly and very concerned even now about ensuring progress with each patient. I just love how the support from Dr. Andrei and the staff keeps me moving forward and working towards my goal to stay healthy and lose the weight.
I recommend Dr. Andrei because he cares about his patients and he has a staff that care as well.
Dr. Andrei appeared to be a great doctor who was concerned about his patients. He has a staff that are competent and concerned about the patients thatcome to Dr. Andrei. My impression of Dr. Andrei and his staff just got better over time. They never changed the way they cared about me. His office is layed back with fun and loving staff who show how they care about your health and progress. You walk in and you feel the warmth in the room. Its always good morning or afternoon. I liked everything about Dr. Andrei and his office. New patients should know that they are going to feel like the only patient Dr. Andrei has. Dr. Andrei and his staff pay very close attention to their patients before, during and after surgery. Dr. Andrei stays with his patients while they recover and for as long as needed. He comes to the hospital and calls. The patient is in the office 3 appointments the first week, then weekly and monthly. The patient receives daily calls to ensure they are doing well. They can call with any problems. He sits and talks with you about each surgical proceedures and the risks to determaine which is best for the individual patient. Overall I rate Dr. Andrei and 10 out of 10. He is the best. His surgical competence and bedside manners are both great.
I have nothing negative to say about Dr. Andrei and his staff they are the best.
It has been 8 months since my operation in May, 2012. I weighed 307 pounds. It is now January, 2013 and I weigh 177 pounds. I have lost a total of 130 pounds!!! I feel amazing, and this operation has change my life for the better. I'm more active, have a lot more fun hanging out with friends, it's an extremely large boost in confidence, and now I just feel amazing. Thank you Dr. Andrei and staff for everything you have done for me.
Everyone who works at Dr. Andrei's office are the nicest people I have met. They have offered nothing but the best guidance and help on my road to surgery. They have answered all of my question both before, and after the surgery. It has been exactly 37 days since my operation, and I have already lost 47 pounds! I can't thank everyone enough for changing my lifestyle and putting me on the right track to a healthy life!
Well a year after my previous review and I must say, I FEEL (AND LOOK)GREAT!!!!!!!! Dr. Andrei and his staff have provided me with a second chance on life. The "second" family feeling that I receive when entering into his office or speaking to him or his staff on the phone is amazing and makes this journey so enjoyable. I again HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Andrei and his practice for anyone contemplating this life altering change. Good luck on the "new" you.
Dr. Andrei aong with his staff have provided me with an amazing experience during this journey of "renewal". He is attentive and patient for the inquisitive and skeptical person as myself. I had my surgery on 6/16/11 and have not had any difficulty at all. His staff is always available to answer the smallest question at the drop of a dime. Due to the professionalism provided by Dr. Andrei and his staff they have made a very scary and trying decision an enjoyable experience. I highly recommend Dr. Andrei and his practice to anyone that is considering this life changing journey.
I am now approaching my 2 year anniversary and am still over 100 lbs lighter. I feel like I have always lived this way and my life is so comfortable now. I am finally comfortable in my own skin. Thank you to Dr. Andrei and his amazing supportive staff who remain encouraging. I am now ready to encourage others in my family to have this surgery.
I came to Dr. Andrei's office sad and embarassed about my size. My first impression was one of acceptance, compassion and most of all hope. Dr. Andrei was professional, but loving.
He accepted me for who I was, not what I looked like.
The office staff has been so encouraging. They made every visit positive and I felt respected.
My recooperation from surgery had some complications afterwards, yet I was confident that I would succeed. Dr. Andrei was reassuring letting me know it was nothing he had not handled before and visited me FREQUENTLY in my hospital room. His manner was one of honest concern and compassion. He held my hand when I needed it!
A year later, 100 lbs. thinner and I can't say enough praises for this new opportunity I have in my life.
I'm 5 weeks post surgery and Dr Andrei and his entire staff have been incredibly helpful and supportive. I've had no complications and have been progressing very well. After care is a high priority for this team. In addition to my weekly appointments, I also received phone calls twice a day for weeks after my surgery. Pam guides you through every stage of the process and is easily accessible and highly knowledgeable. The risks and benefits of each procedure were explained clearly before the surgery. There are classes that must be attended before the procedure, but they are informative and helpful even for someone who has been on diet programs for most of their life. For those considering the sleeve, I highly recommend this office.
Almost 4 months after surgery and I feel great! I am continuing to lose weight at a slow and steady pace. To be honest, I was extremely scared and nervous about having gastric bypass surgery but I was back to work in less than a week. No complications, no issues. I continue to visit the doctor's office for monthly follow up appointments and get the same care and concern I did when I first met the doctor and his staff over 4 years ago.
As a patient of Dr. Andrei's for several years, I have had nothing but a positive experience under his care. He has shown genuine concern for the treatment I receive. His staff is extremely warm and welcoming. Whether on the phone or in the office, they take their time to talk to you and leave you with a positive, upbeat feeling. For anyone considering weight loss surgery, I highly recommend visiting a support group first and would definitely recommend Dr. Andrei.
