I am currently 4 wks into my surgery and can say that it's been the best experience with the doctor and his staff; much more than I expected. During my stay at the hospital, Dr. Andrei took excellent care of me as well as having other doctors check of different medical concerns that were going on. Upon my release, his staff checked on me everyday (2-3 times a day) and if I had any concerns, problems or questions, I could call and receive a return call asap. If I could rate Dr. Andrei and his staff, they would fall well above the excellent status. Thank you for giving me the best experience and care I can receive and look forward to continuing my recovery with their office.

Dr. Andrei and his staff are a pleasure to have as a physician. Some of them have had the surgery performed by him and they are a joy to talk with. They help you understand the in and out of the surgery from the patient's perspective. They work with you and help you to prepare and survive for life after sugery. They try to answer all the questions they can for you and are very helpful. i never felt like i was a bother to them. In fact they encouraged me to call them if I had questions or concerns. Dr. Andrei would be a good choice for anyone.

I am 6 months post surgery and 92 pounds lighter than when this journey began and I feel great thanks to Dr Andrei and his team. Usually going to a doctor's office gives me an involuntary negative reaction, but I look forward to my appointments with my nutritionist, Pamela. Pamela has been such a positive force in my life throughout this process. If it wasn't for her encouragement and support I would not have gone through with the surgery because my family was totally against the procedure. Pamela reminded me that this was my life and only I truly knew what was going on with my body. I can't think her enough as I watch the pounds melt away. Dr Andrei and the rest of his team continue to support me in each stage of my development. I was initially very skeptical about any weight loss surgery. A close relative had had lapband surgery and raved about her results. With a recent diagnosis of Diabetes and a long-standing history of Hypertension, I knew I needed to lose weight in order to get on track to being healthy again, so she recommended Dr. Andrei and his practice. Meeting with him, was life-changing. After reviewing my health history, he surprisingly recommended Gastric Bypass surgery for me. I was devastated and I cried. He was very patient, caring, and took the time to explain the differences in procedures, the risks, benefits, and eligibility. He allowed me time to process this and to come to a decision on my own. His practice gives you an opportunity to meet and speak with patients who have recently undergone the different types of procedures for weight loss and to hear their experiences at different stages. Once I made my decision, the practice and I became a team. They were all involved every step of the way and afterwards. It has been close to two years since my procedure and I am still coming in for visits, communicating with the staff members and Dr. Andrei, having questions answered and problems solved. This level of aftercare makes the difference between success and complications. This practice is big on aftercare and yes, they offer a structured program. I owe a beautiful surgery, easy recovery, and miraculous restoration of health to this excellent caring and competent staff. I truly believe, that their expertise and patience are the key ingredients to getting anyone through their journey to better health. I am 20 months post op and I feel amazing. I am complimented all the time on my achievements and progess. Im in a bit of a plateau but hope to break out soon, making wiser eating choices. the nutrition staff at Dr. Andrei's office is great, they take the time to work with you one on one and answer all of your question. I highly recomment Dr. Andrei.
