Five years after surgery and living in another state, I love the fact that the office staff still follows up and helps you through any bumps and offers encouragement and support.
Can't wait to embark on the final leg of my personal journey this week.
I can honestly say that Bariatric Associates has changed my life for the better.

Words can even describe how grateful I am to have found a wonderful dr and staff. It's been 3weeks since my surgery (gastric bypass) I feel wonderful and pleased with my results so far, I have to say Dr Andrei has been very nice to me I felt I had a friend and not a dr next to me. I would recommend his office and staff to anyone looking to get bariatric surgery.

From the moment I stepped into Dr. Andrei's office I felt extremely comfortable. Every new patient is apprehensive and yet excited at the same time. The staff does a wonderful job at listening to ALL of your concerns and explaining the differences between each procedure in a way that everyone can understand. Most of all, the aftercare that is provided has exceeded my expectations! No one in this bariatric office leaves a patient (no matter how far removed from surgery) left to fend for themselves! I know I will always have help/support from Dr. Andrei and his staff...for that I am extremely greatful!

Hi my names Ariel I'm 21 and I am a proud patient of Dr. Andrei and his beautiful staff. When beginning the process I was extremely nervous and had so many concerns but the patient staff and Dr. Andrei literally held my hand through every single part of the process along with my mother who also had weight loss surgery by Dr. Andrei. We both love what Dr.. Andrei has helped us accomplish in so little time it's really so amazing and we are so thankful that we met Dr. Andrei along with miss Pam the awesome nutritionist. Before and since my surgery I have lost over 130 pounds I've never been happier.I would recommend Dr. Andrei and his staff because they are kind and understanding and they make you feel like family, they are also very supportive and every organized . .

I had surgery on 2/29/13 with Dr. Andrei. I did very well, thanks to the skill of this gifted surgeon. Dr. Andrei cleaned out lots of surgical scar tissue from other operations, and did my surgery so that I had very minimal pain after the first day. In fact, by the fourth day post surgery I was off all pain meds.

No only did Dr. Andrei do a great job, but the staff is incredible. I heard from Andy twice a day for the first two weeks post surgery and always knew that I could call if I had any questions or problems. And, Pamela, the nutritionist, has been great. She has been great with helping me to learn how to eat slowly and carefully and has been very good with understanding my individual needs. Everyone else in the office, from Carrie who always accomodates my schedule, to the lovely folks who take care of all the other details is wonderful.

I live about an hour and a half from Dr. Andrei's office and there are plenty of bariatric surgeons within a few miles of my home. I chose Dr. Andrei because from the research I did, he had the most experience doing surgery and when I met him I knew that he would do what was best for me and he did. I was initially planning to have the sleeve, but after all the testing was done, Dr. Andrei felt the bypass was the correct surgery for me because it would resolve my long standing reflux and help me lose more weight. I am happy with the decision made and am learning to use the tool I have to finally lose the weight.

So, if you are thinking about bariatric surgery, see Dr. Andrei and his staff. I think you'll be glad you did.

Great staff, great doctor very good experience with my surgery.

Dr.Andrei was a little hard for me to understand the first time we met.That eased as I talked with him more in the following visits.His staff is great.For the most part they are all friendly.I must say that Pam is one of the warmest people I have ever encountered!I would be nice if Dr. Andrei developed a little more of a bond with his patients.Then again maybe it's me.It's been three weeks since my surgery and the staff has always kept in touch with me.Andy has made many calls and always reminds me if I need a question answered to call the office.All risks with a surgery(lap band)were discussed with me prior to the surgery and I fully understood them. Dr.Andrei and his staff are great. Surgery went well and I am pleased with everything so far.

I recently cried tears of joy. My starting weight was 293lbs, currently I'm 163.5lbs. I would've never thought about going into certain stores before, now I can. I have no regrets at all. Just to run around with my three boys without getting tired is a dream come true. I think my husband for being so supportive of me and taken this journey with me. Once again I say thank you to Dr. Andrei and his staff for all their support. I highly recommend Dr. Andrei, if anyone is considering the gastric surgery.

My first meeting with Dr. Andrei was so informative where I had no doubts as to him doing my surgery. He made me feel very comfortable about my decision. Pamela has been my own cheerleader where every meeting with her has encouraged me from day one. The office staff as I stated earlier, is terrific and never are your phone calls a burden to them with all your questions. Andy with his daily phone calls after surgery, will check up on you and never minds all your questions.
I would highly reccommend Dr. Andrei and his wonderful staff.
