Hi, when I first heard of the lap band surgery I was a skeptic like most others. I heard of Dr. Andrei though the radio advertisement while driving i wrote his number down and gave them a call and that started my lap band journey. I had no friend and knew no one who actually went threw with it.
I practically relied on Dr Andrei's office staff for information after few classes with their nutritionist I decided to give it a try and let me tell you after just a short few weeks with my band my life is much better. My self esteem went threw the roof cause I was now in control of my eating habit, I was feeling better not only physically but mentally as well i feel so much better about myself.
I totally recommend Dr. Andrei and this surgery for anyone who wants to lose weight safely and easily in my opinion it is much better than the gastric bypass surgery for many reasons.
1: it is not permanent
2: you lose the weight a lot slower so you don’t wind up with as much loose skin hanging around.
3: you will definitely feel better about yourself

My experiance with Dr. Andrei and his office staff has been amazing. They are all attentive, caring, and some of the nicest people I've met. They all truely have the patient's best interest in mind. When first starting the process of weigh loss surgery, Dr. Andrei makes sure you have all the information that you could need and helps you decided which surgery is best for you, while also leaving the ultimate decision up to the patient. Dr. Andrei was a great surgeon and I had the utmost confidence that he would preform my surgery safely. Post sugery, the staff calls you almost every day to make sure that you are feeling well and ask if you have any questions or concerns. I am incredibly happy with my entire experiance with Dr. Andrei and his office and I would 100% recommend him to anyone looking for weight loss surgery. This whole experiance was life changing and I could not be happier.

and dose a very informed follow up with his paients also his staff is one of the best i have ever encounterd they are very well trained in bariatric weight loss and will go out of there way to help you no matter witch surgery you choose i would like
to let anyone thinking of this way of weight loss to go see Dr. Andrei and his staff they will transform your life like they did mine many thanks to them all.

I have nothing but good things to say about Dr Andrei and his office staff. First of all, the staff is awesome. Always willing to answer any question I have. Dr Andrei will make you feel at ease when it comes to your surgery. Dr Andrei will follow up with you after your surgery and make sure you have a structured aftercare program. Pam will help you with following a diet that will fit your needs in your recovery. Andy will not rest till you fully recover from your surgery. What would I tell future patients about Dr Andrei. Do your homework about weight loss surgery but when it comes to picking a doctor, I would make sure Dr, Andrei is on the top of the list.
knocking on the door of my two year anniversary since by-pass surgery. I have kept my weight off, no high blood pressure meds, my diabetes is no longer a problem, and my cholesterol has come way down. I can run now and chase my grandson all over the place. I never would have believed it! I am so thankful and forever will be to Dr. Andrei and his very attentive, friendly staff for making me feel cared for and safe. I feel like a whole new person!!!
I am at my six month visit and feeling wonderful. I am down 73 lbs. and have no aches and pains and plenty of energy. I had someone ask me two weeks ago if I had the chance to do it again would I. Without hesitation I responded with a resounding "YES!" My cholestrerol has come down, BP, sugar levels are normal. I haven't had this in over 25 years! I am also very thankful that I have not been "abondoned" by Dr. Andrei or his staff. I have talked to other people who have chosen other surgeons and they have told me that after 6 months they were being pushed out the door so to speak. I feel bad for them. I however do not share that same feeling. I know that i am being cared for and there is no price that you can put on that!
I have to share that I have been blessed to find Dr. Andrei and his wonderful staff! I have never felt alone or unprepared in my entire journey from before surgery until present which is a month after surgery. I feel like a family member and not a "Patient". Truely feel cared about and really appreciate the time that has been spent with me to make me feel comfortable and unafraid. My sister in law visited me this week and she had the same suregery (gastric bypass) 17 mths ago and she says she can't believe how well I am doing, how good I look and that she didn"t look or feel as good at three weeks after surgery. And my General practioner is so impressed that he is taking Dr. Andrei"s information to hand out to his patients that are considering surgery because he said that his other patients that have had this surgery don't feel as cared about as I do. I have recommended Dr. Andrei already to a couple of friends considering this suregery because I know they woun't be disappointed.
I had my gastric sleeve on April/18/2013, that is less then a month ago.
I already lost 24 pounds and i feel better every day.
this is my first review after the surgery but i can tell that no regret and I'm sure i will give more details in the near future.
Dr. Andrei, was great in helping me with weight loss, and eliminating my diabetes-2.
This is excellent way of helping yourself, if you failed at all diets.
Dr. Andrei and his group are very helpful, understanding with my weight loss problems.
Dr. Andrei has proven to be a caring physician. His staff is wonderful and you learn how to eat prior to the surgery and they are attentive and caring after the surgery. It's a big decision to have this surgery, they explain everything and answer all questions you may have about the surgery and recovery. They call daily to check on you after surgery and see you weekly to counsel you on what you should eat and how to feel your best. Dr. Andrei is a very good surgeon and has wonderful bedside manner. I remember going into surgery, he was right there as they wheeled me in, he gave my hand a squeeze and said some very soothing words to me. My surgery was a month ago and I feel great. Learning to eat new portions and make good choices. I would recommend this surgery to all who have tried "everything" and are not able to loose the weight on your own. This is just the beginning and I look forward to the rest of my new life!
