Dr.Titus Duncan was funny the first time I saw him at the seminar. He really knew what he was talking about. The staff at his office is the bomb. Joyce is great and reallt cares. I have nothing negative to say about Dr. Duncan or his office staff. I hope to be having surgery soon.
I attended the Seminar at AMC (10/14). Dr. Duncan is very pationate about his work. He was very nice and informative. He answered all the questions that were asked without making anyone feel ackward. Watching the video on the WLS was very interesting!
My first impression of Dr. Duncan was that he was an excellent doctor that takes his job seriously. His zeal to help others is remarkable. I really appreciate his interest and love for helping others. I truly beleive that I have the best doctor one can have. So far, his office staff is pretty polite when I call. Never any problems. My consult was on Thurs. morning, my letter was sent off to UnitedHealthcare on Tues. I'm now waiting on the approval. Please know that he emphasizes that he is only the tool. You must do your part. He stresses that this is to improve the Quality of your life. It is definately a lifestyle change. Excellent man with God Gifted Hands.
My first impression of Dr Duncan was that he was a very likable person with a lot of knowledge. After meeting him several times now I also know that he is a very caring and serious about the weight lose surgery and helping others. He probably has the best staff I have ever meet in any doctor’s office and believe me I have been in numerous doctors’ offices over the years. I can honestly say that there was not one thing that I didn't like about Dr Duncan.
Only consider Dr Duncan if you want the best care before, during, and after your surgery! He is very serious about what should be done and what should not be done. Dr Duncan, his staff and his support people really work hard to teach you the proper way to succeed in this endeavor. I have been told that it is now mandatory to lose some weight before he will perform the surgery.
As for the risk, on the day of our last meeting he came in a stated that his job on this visit is to talk us out of the surgery. He did not pull any punches he told the good and awful of the surgery.
As for his bedside manner I would definitely give him an A+. On his or his other attending doctors surgical competence, I have no complaints. I am living and walking proof of their competence, as for during the surgery that's the best part I was a sleep.
My first impression of Dr.Duncan was that he had a great since of humor. He also has a passion for people who are extremely overweight and struggling (as if the two don't go hand in hand). God has truly ordered my steps in this weight loss journey. I feel really blessed to be under Dr. Duncan's care.
When I first saw Dr. Duncan I thought he was very cute. After hearing him talk and explain everything I knew I wanted him as my surgeon. I feel that God has really blessed this man to help those of us who need this type of sugery. I'm hoping that he is the one who actually preformes my surgery,but if not I am sure I will be in other capable hands.
You must also know that Dr.Duncan emphazies that this is just a tool to help you work to acheive the health and body you desire. Be ready to work at it.
My first impression the Dr. Ducan and his staff is Wonderful. He has a great sense of humor and that makes you feel more at ease when you are making such a life changing decision.
I feel Dr Ducan is a dry man LOL but with a good sense of humor. he is very straight forward and I could haven't choose a great Doctor. I trust his expertise in the field of Bariatric's and his staff is very professional. And when it comes to dieting before your surgery date he does play with you at all he will not operate if you gain anymore weight.. Dr Duncan stress to risk involed in the procedure and also staff follow up to make sure you are getting or doing the nessary paperwork and or reffering you to the next step or test you will have to take.
I have met both Dr. Duncan and Dr. Johnson and was thrilled with both doctors. The staff at the office is extememly helpful and always ready to answer your questions. The doctrs put on an hour meeting right before surgery so you can ask them questions and set your mind at ease. I couldn't have chosen a better medical staff to have preformed my surgery. The day of surgery and the day after I had several memebers the their staff stop by to check up on me and the hospital staff at Atlanta Medical was friendly and read to help at a moments notice. I would lke to thank them all for making my surgery a great and easy experience.
