Peachtree Surgical and Bariatrics Bariatric Center

I'm only rating three stars because although the staff is VERY friendly and nice appointments take long and even though I have provided them with all of my required documentations they have yet to submit anything to my insurance company. I was told I have an advocate but although I have left them a message they have never called me back and I have never met them.

My initial appointment was 3/30/17 and I already had been seeing a registered dietitian since 1/9/17 and I have already seen a psychiatrist, had an upper GI, spoken with the dietician and his PA. they have my recommendation from my PCP, my labs and recent EKG, provided records from my medically supervised diet and they haven't sent my request to my insurance and I have never met either my doctor nor my patient care advocate. It really concerns me because despite all of the issues I have had with my lapband, my previous doctors office had this process down to a science. I was both approved and scheduled for surgery within 32 days of my first doctors visit. they kept great track of all of my records but with this office they don't seem to have things in order. Their dietician couldn't even see documents I brought in with me on the very first visit!

I will continue to blog about my journey with Peachtree Bariatrics and Dr Duncan, if I ever meet him. I hope to have an exciting journey and for things to progress and move along promptly. STAY TUNED!!

great surgeon, Dr Titus is very good at what he does.

I was very impressed with his superior knowledge of how weight loss surgery works. He makes you aware of what exactly to expect and has strong guidelines for what he needs you to do to prepare. I would like for him to be my surgeon for my gastric sleeve and plastic surgery.

Is an amazing Dr.! He doesn't meet a stranger, very cheerful and loves to work with his patients and oversee some of their progress and will let you know to keep pushing for the results you want. First time I meet with him I was a little nervous but within minutes it was gone because of his charm and wit...he wants to make you feel as comfortable as possible, and not to leave out my other Dr. Dr Davis..they both deserve high praise for the excellent job they did and the professionalism throughout the whole ordeal! KUDOS DOC!! :)

Dr. Duncan was overall an amazing surgeon to work with. He is very kind and has a calming effect. The day of my surgery I was extremely scared, stressed, and anxious he was able to calm me and re assure me that everything would be just fine. I first meet him in a seminar that he holds about weight loss options and programs that he offers at his practice. That man answered every possible question, which is one of the main reasons I choose him as my surgeon. I had heard of him from radio interviews and from being on the news as a health consultant, so I knew his reputation was pretty good. The only negative thing I could say is that most of his patients would appreciate him getting his staff in order. Some of them have foul attitudes and no one wants to deal with that while embarking on this journey. As a surgeon he was impeccable and I would hands down suggest him to anyone!!!

I have been a patient with this office for almost 2 years now and have yet to even meet the doctor. I have gotten the biggest runaround from the office staff. I feel like a have completely wasted my money on all the tests that I had to take. I call and leave message after message and never get a call back. In the seminar that I went to it was said that each patient is assigned to a case manager and they will hold your hand and walk you through the entire process. What a joke. In less than 2 years I have had 4 case managers. I had to beg for almost 2 months after my personal consultation just to get the road map telling me what I needed to do to have the surgery. I completed everything only to be told that there was one more thing I needed...twice. So, finally done with everything only to find out that they still haven't submitted anything to the insurance company. Called again this morning to find out what is going on only to be told that my case manager is no longer there and have been reassigned yet again! This office is completely opposite of helpful and friendly.

Simply excellent. I was his 1st patient of the morning. Came in spoke with me before the surgery. I knew he was my frat brother so we exchanged greetings and then I was wheeled off. He is a busy man but he is good at what he does. He had 7 surgeries that morning so I didn't expect for him to be chilling and waiting for me in post op. overall an excellent surgeon.

Same thing here. Doc.Duncan is wonderful some of the staff is ok. I think its more of the company who they are waiting on is what 's making the staff look bad. I think they are more upset than we are cause its setting them back. I just wish they would find another copmany to go with. I'm so tired of waiting. Do any one know of another Doc. that does this surgery?

Ok, so the EGD with Sclerotherapy did not work 6 of June. So I was scheduled of the Overstitch Procedure Aug the 19th... wow the coordinator called said they had to change the surgery date to Sept 9... how about they just called and said they will have to get back with me on a new date.. are u for real why is it so hard to get this equipment in for this surgery. Am I, the only one of Doc. Duncan patients that's having this problem. I fill like all this is a joke. Then she calls me with an dry attitude.

I would highly recommend Peachtric Bariatrics with Dr. Titus Duncan and his team of very well qualified physicians to walk you through your weight-loss journey. I did my research for 10+ years when it came to making a decision and deciding who I wanted to do this life-changing surgery for me. His team is wonderful, the hospital experience was excellent and their aftercare is beyond exceptional.
