I had an excellent experience with Dr Sebesta. He is very kind and helped me so much. Already lost 25 pounds in 2 weeks post op. Great office and staff. Thanks Doc!

Dr. S was my surgeon and I couldn't be happier with him and his whole team. I have never felt rushed with him, and even when I was at the center for a nutrition appt or an appt with the nurse, if he was there he would stop and say hi and chat briefly. He's warm and caring and a truly good man, as well as a very talented surgeon. My surgery went very smoothly and I haven't had a single complication. He also repaired a very large hiatal hernia while he was in there to do my sleeve. :) I'll be seeing him at regular intervals for the first year...then after that any time I want to.

He's also very compassionate and is one of the very few surgeons in the Puget Sound area who will accept patients who had WLS surgery out of the country and then ended up with complications. When I told him how wonderful I thought that was, he simply said, "If I didn't, who would? They can't go back to where they had it done, and I won't let them just die." That sums it up, that's the kind of man and surgeon he is.

A wonderful, caring surgeon. He is my "angel" and saved my life and my relationship with my children. I would suggest him to anyone!!!

Did get to meet with him at 3 month, and 6 month post op appointments. Dr. Sebesta set my goal at my 6 month post-op and is very pleased with my progress. He answers my questions and seems very thorough. Always with a smile and genuinely happy to see me.

Haven't seen him since surgery, but I guess that is what residents are for. He explained everything and answered all questions. His team has also been wonderful and I would recommend him with all sorts of enthusiasm.

Dr. Sebesta was just great! He works at Madigan Army Medical Center. Both my wife and I had surgery the same day with Dr. Sebesta and everything went perfect for both of us. He not only is a great Dr. but he has a great personnality and is willing to work with his patients.

I would highly recommend Dr. Sebesta to anyone considering bariactric surgery. Good Luck!

Dr. Sebesta is a very competent surgeon. He looks directly in your eyes and tells you like it is with a smile on his face. He drew the surgery plan on the paper sheet on the table. He is always happy for even the smallest of successes. Because he takes his time with his patients, it is good to know that you may have to wait to see him. Bring a good book. The staff and surgical TEAM are OUTSTANDING! I felt like I was on Team Sebesta from the get-go!

Dr. Sebesta is a great surgeon. However, I only saw him pre-op and he did the surgery on me. I didn't see him (only residents) while I was in the hospital, nor during any of my post-op visits. rnrnIn the pre-op visits, he made it very clear about what the surgery involved. Risks were explained well. He was nice and informative when I met him. rnrnI can't really comment on his bedside manner, as it was nonexistant for me. His surgical competence was great...as far as I know. I just would have preferred actually getting to SEE HIM for follow up appts. My last appointment, I didn't even see a surgeon - just one of the residents. I was a bit disappointed that I haven't really had any follow up with him.

My first impression of him was: rnrnHe's self-confident, competent, good personality, honest.

When I first met Dr. Sebesta I knew he was the surgeon for me. He smiled and was happy and very confident in what he was capable of doing. His residents were usually very nice. rnOne of them could work on his bedside manner just a bite. But all in all they were great. They emphasize how important walking was and so as soon as I could hold me head up I put on my shoes and got to walking! My after care was very well they were always there when I needed them. We was very knowledge able in explaining the risk with the surgery and explained how he does his best to prevent them. I would recommend Dr. Sebesta over and over again!

Dr Sebesta was wonderful. I would recommend him to anyone who is apprehensive about having the surgery. I truly believe he saved my life. He was honest and straightforward but has an amazing bed-side manner that I find missing in many doctors. There is nothing I dislike about him. He cares about his patients and always makes time and doesn't treat you just like a case but rather like a person. He is adamant about proper aftercare. He is very professional and thorough. I would give him a rating of 10 out of 10.
