Bariatric Surgery in Tacoma and Olympia, Washington with Dr. Sebesta
I've done everything from trauma surgery to general surgery, been to the war, done all those kinds of things. At the end of the day, the one thing that I do that gives me the most satisfaction is watching people lose weight and regain their lives. I see people who can't play with their grandkids or can't get out of their wheelchair all of a sudden change their lives and be able to do those things. Bariatric surgery improves the quality of patients’ lives and makes them live longer. I’m grateful to be part of their journey. -Dr. Sebesta
Dr. Sebesta’s practice philosophy includes the belief that medical care is a partnership with the patient. He is committed to working with his patients to create a treatment plan that best fits the patient's individual needs. His goal is to improve the lives of his patients and their families by providing the highest quality of care.
Utilizing advanced minimally invasive techniques in bariatric surgery, Dr. Sebesta expertly performs the Roux-en-Y (RNY) Gastric Bypass, the Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy (VSG), Biliopancreatic Bypass w/Duodenal Switch and SIPS-Duodenal Switch. He also uses his surgical skills to provide treatment for breast cancer, gastroesophageal reflux disease, abdominal wall hernias, and other gastrointestinal diseases. Dr. Sebesta was one of the first surgeons in South Puget Sound to successfully perform minimally invasive LINX surgeries for severe reflux and GERD.
