Dr. Kelly Blair, Bariatric Surgeon

Kelly Blair, MD, shares his surgical expertise with patients at the MultiCare Center for Weight Loss & Wellness in Tacoma, Washington. With over 26 years of experience, he is a respected board-certified general surgeon specializing in minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic bariatric surgery.

Dr. Blair earned his medical degree from Rush University Medical College in Chicago, Illinois. He completed his residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. He fellowship-trained at the University of Chicago School of Medicine.

Dr. Blair is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and has co-authored numerous important publications. He has served in the US Army as Chief of Surgical Services, Chief of Bariatric and Foregut Surgery, and Chief of General Surgery. He currently dedicates his spare time to medical missions, church outreach programs, learning languages, and foreign travel.
