Dr. K was fantastic, very easy to talk to and I felt very comfortable.

Dr. K is at GHP (Grand Health Partners) he and his staff and everyone at Spectrum Hospital were just great. They explained everything, I felt very calm:) and my incisions are barley noticeable, they look like mosqitoe bites. I can't say enough good about all of them.

Dr. Kemmeter seems to be very friendly, knowledgeable and easy to talk with. I heard him speak at an orientation, then at a support group meeting, and finally at my one on one consult at the end of March 05. His office staff has been tremendous so far. They have been friendly and helpful. I have experienced some difficulty having phone calls returned on 2 or 3 occasions, where I called 2 or 3 times over a 2 week period, but these were more administrative-type calls. I have called about medical related items and have received prompt return calls. The entire practice (Michigan Medical, PC-Center for Health Excellence) ( http://www.mmpc.com/serv/cfhe ) has a very structured before AND aftercare program, with Nurses, Internists, Surgical PAs,Dietitians, Behaviorists, Exercise Physiologists, etc. They are all up front about the risks of the surgery. I loved my Dr. and his office and staff. They are very friendly and on top of everthing and I felt very comfortable there!!! The hospital staff at Spectrum were AWESOME!!! They had marvelous bed side manners!!!! THANKS ALL FOR A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!!

Dr Baker has an excellent reputation and my experiences with him have born that out. He is a very kind, thoughtful man. As a surgeon he is top notch.

The staff at Grand Health Partners, where Dr. Baker has his practice, are all very friendly, helpful, and focused on one thing, the success of their patients.

Dr. Baker and staff have a very good structured aftercare program, and continued follow up is stressed as very important.

I would rate Dr. Baker as a 10 out of 10. His surgical competence is renouned and his bedside manner is wonderful. I highly recommend Dr. Baker and GHP to anyone.

On 08/21/12 I lost my lap band and revised to a VSG. I received the same level of expertise and caring that I previously had. I had unexpected problems this time and the entire staff at GHP was great about following up with me and quickly scheduling any thing I needed.

Dr. Kemmeter and his PA Todd Vroegop are amazing! I consider myself to be truly lucky that they were my medical team, not only lucky but a pretty smart cookie since I chose Dr. Kemmeter.
They are extremely kind, caring and compassionate. They are all about safety 1st! This is very comforting.
They have a very structured pre-surgical and post-surgical program.
Both Dr. Kemmeter and Todd are competent and have great bedside manner.
I highly recommend Dr. Kemmeter and all of his staff.

My surgen is great! I liked him right from the start. He was very informative and explained everything to me. The aftercare his office has is terrific.There are 2 dietitians and a great exercise physiologist.He was very helpful in helping me find exercises that helped me work on my problem areas. Everyone on his staff is very nice and I believe that they really do care about their patients. There was nothing I didnt like about him or his staff. I know people say there is always one thing or another that someone doesnt like about someone but in this case there isnt. I would highly advise anyone who is near Grand Rapids and considering the surgery to look into his office.(Grand Health Partners).

Dr. Kemmeter and everyone at the Grand Health Partners office is/are great. They are very thorough and helpful throughout the entire process.

From the very first moment of meeting Dr. Foote I could see the compasion in his eyes. He cares about the concerns, questions, and health of his patients. My surgery went very well, the stay at the hospital was limited to only 1 day and I did not have to have a catheder which was a big plus. I would recommend him to anyone considering surgery.

Dr Kemmeter is absolutely amazing!!! He has a great sense of humor but also is very honest and real with his patients. He makes you understand that this is not a magic fix he is merely giving you a tool to conquer you weight demons!! He checks on you soon after surgery and makes sure you get the best care. I am so happy that he is my surgeon. He has truly changed my life for the better.
He does have a very structured after care program. You see him, the dietician and the exercise physiologist quite a bit after surgery and I love that you contact the dietician and the exercise physiologist through email with quick questions. He also has some one always on call to answer your questions when it comes to how you are doing after surgery.
He was very straight forward about the risks of surgery. On a scale of 1 to 10, he's an 11.
He has amazing Surgical Competence and Bedside Manner. He is fantastic with both!!!!
The only problem with Dr. Kemmeter was his pre-op coordinator. She wasn't mean but sometimes when I really needed answers about when my surgery would be she would seem to take days to get back to me where if she would have just called and said hey I don't have and answer but I didn't forget about you that would have been better.
Other than that he is the man who gave me a new lease on life and did it with a little bit of humor, a little bit of reality and a little bit of tough love but if you are looking for a fabulous surgeon he's your guy.

He not only is a great surgeon but a wonderful person. I have enjoyed both my personal and professional relationship with him. I work in the medical field and refer patients to him on a regular basis. I would highly recommend not only him but Grand Health Partners as a whole for someone seeking weight loss.
