I would highly recommend Dr. Foote and Grand Health Partners. At my first meeting with him never did he seem rushed. He took plenty of time with me, answered all of my questions, and explained things very well. He even volunteered to write a letter to my ins company to request the particular surgery I wanted because he felt it best for me also. The ins company normally did not approve of this surgery except under special circumstances. Dr. Foote recognized the need, and managed to get it approved within a week. I can not say praise him enough. I trust him with my care completely.

I attended the seminar hosted by Dr Foote. He was very informative, passionate and patient as he went through all of the different procedures, pros & cons, risks & benefits, details of the before surgery and post surgery expectations. I decided I wanted him to be my surgeon. I only met with him once before surgery, but he made the best of that time. He wanted to make sure that I knew anything and everything there was to know, and answered ALL of my questions. The morning of surgery, he met with me again, making sure that if I had any questions or reservations that they were all addressed. My procedure went flawlessly and I've had no complications and very little pain. Even the day of surgery and the day after, there was minimal pain..just discomfort at one of the incision sites(larger one for removing my stomach). Otherwise, I used very little pain meds. To me, that's a compliment to Dr Foote and Randy PA, who assisted. I would recommend Dr Foote 100 times over.

Really glad I had Dr Foote and that his reputation proved true. He is so easy to talk to,very informative and a great surgeon. I had zero issues really. No nausea, no pain just discomfort a little bit but nothing that stopped me from walking, etc. I can swallow my daily pills no problem and had a great experience. I was in good hands and highly recommend Dr Foote and know he is there should I ever have any issues come up like gallbladder, etc.

Dr. Baker and the entire staff at Grand Health Partners the finest medical professionals one could encounter. From the initial orientation I could tell that this was a first class organization concerned about treating the patient in a manor that would provide them the best opportuinty for success. The approach at Grand Health Partners is to treat all aspects of the patient with behaviorists, dieticians, excercise physiologist, physicians, physician assistants and of coarse surgeons on staff. Through out the process I was completely informed and every question or concern that I had was fully addressed. I would recommend this group to anyone interested in weight loss surgery.

Dr Nagle and the staff and Grand Health Partners have helped me through every step I have made on this journey so far. He spent time with me before my surgery to ensure all of my questions were answered - even the dumb ones. He is very knowledgable and so kind and gentle. I was actually never scared before surgery just excited. After surgery it was a great comfort to see Dr Nagle walk into my room each day I was there. I also saw my PA - Matt who added that additional comfort to my visit. I would recommend Dr. Nagle to anyone who asked - he helped me achieve the first step in my new life and I know he will be there as I continue this exciting journey.

My bariatric surgeon is Dr. Paul Kemeter . He is a terrific surgeon with a wonderful bedside manner. He takes the time to explain the procedure, risks, side effects, and outcomes. His staff are all very friendly and helpful. His nurse Kathy Mooney visited me daily in the hospital. She even called me the day I returned home and encouraged me to call with any concerns or questions. I highly recommend Dr. Kemmeter and staff to anyone wishing bariatric surgery.

I liked Dr. Foote from the first time I'd met him at an informational seminar and things just got better from there. He is one of four surgeons at Grand Health Partners. The entire staff there is wonderful. Everything is under one office: surgeons, bariatrician, PA's, phone nurses, dietitians, behaviorists exercise physiologists and their store of specialty foods, protein drinks and vitamins specifically for weight lost surgical patients. They also handle non-surgical weight loss. Whatever you choose, it is a great team effort.

Dr. Foote performed my lap RNY in July 2009. I've had abdominal surgery before so I was expecting a lot of pain post op. It never happened. I had discomfort, but no pain. The day after discharge I walked an entire art fair, came home and took a nap and walked a mile later. He and his staff have taken excellent care of me.

In August of this year I called his office because I was doubled over with abdominal pain. They told me to go to Blodgett ER. They had called ahead and advised them I was coming. I got great care at the hospital, which kept in contact with Grand Health Partners. When they told me I had appendicitis, I asked them what's next. They said Dr. Foote was waiting to operate on me. When he heard I was in the ER he waited around even though he didn't have surgeries scheduled that day. He said in the beginning of my weight loss journey he'd always be there for me and he has been. I again had painless surgery. I went home Thursday and was driving on Friday and back to work on Monday.

Grand Health Partners offers surgical support groups twice a month at their office. They are recommended to both pre and post-op patients. They also have focus groups around the state lead by patients. They are adamant about helping us succeed and stress this surgery is a tool, not a cure. There are 2, 6 and 12-week f/u's along with 6, 12, 18 and 24 month f/u's then yearly. If someone starts to gain weight, they want to know at 5#'s not at 25#. If a person starts to have some emotional issues, the behaviorists are there to assist.

There is access to medical personnel 24/7. I know because I've had to call them after hours and on a holiday. Each time I was treated with care and concern even thought I was delving into their 'personal time.' They take care of emergencies and call you back. If your labs are out of whack they will call you for that too. They don't want to wait until your next appointment. They look at each person individually. While one person might be off meds earlier than the next, it's because that's what right for that person.

Dr. Foote and the entire Grand Health Partners team are excellent and I highly recommend them.

I was very impressed by Doctor Kemmeter. He did a great job explaining my options, the benefits and risks associated with each procedure.

I was very happy with GHP's process. I attended other seminars and GHP's was far ahead of any others. They clearly know what they are doing and let you know what is going to happen every step along the way.

I have access to Nutritionist via email and they are really responsive.

The PA's are also great.

Can't say enough about Dr. Kemmeter and his staff.

My first meeting with Dr. Kemmeter I was nervous but with in 3 minutes of him walking in the room he made me laugh! He has a great personality and a good sense of humor. He is very professional but in a down to earth way.He is all about safety, He cares about his patients and it shows! The office staff is nice and helpful I haven't had any issues at all.

Surgical competence is very important to me, But bed side manner is important as well and Dr. K has them both! I give him an A+!

Dr. Kemmeter is a very kind and knowledgable Dr. He is a very Christian man and it shows in his care and concern for his patients and the time he takes to explain everything to you so you are on top of things. My surgery went very well and I was up walking just a short time after returning to my room. Yes, I was sore but that is to be expected but walking made me feel good and I am now up to 2 miles a day and am just in my the last day of my first week. I try to keep a positive attitude and keep in mind why I wanted this surgery in the first place. I would recommend Dr. Kemmeter for whatever kind of surgery you may want done. He is very qualified.

I only had one problem with one of his staff in that she was not on top of things and never called me or returned my calls. The rest of the staff was wonderful.
