Grand Health Partners Bariatric Center
From what I know about Dr. Kemmeter I really like him. I feel very comfortable with the thought of him doing my surgery. I also have two friends who had Dr. Kemmeter for their surgeon. I have yet to hear anything negative about him.rnrnI've not been the happiest with some of his office staff regarding their willingness to go the extra mile. After all this is a huge step in a person's life and I want to have all my ducks in a row before surgery.rnrn12/17/06rnDr Kemmeter was great. My one and only recommendation for Dr. Kemmeter would be to change his photo on the MMPC web site; Dr. Kemmeter is much more handsome than his current photo.rnrnDr. Kemmeter is a kind an gentle person who is very informative with the patient and the patient’s family members.rnrnI would recommend Dr. Kemmeter to anyone contemplating surgery.rn
Dr. Baker was very pleasant and informative to speak with. He was highly recommended to me as one of the leading surgeons in the state and I'm told he has developed some of the techniques now used to make the surgery more successful and reduce the risk of adhesions. If I have to find one shortcoming, it would be that I only was able to meet with him for a short initial consultation and then for a few minutes before surgery. All of the pre and post surgical visits have been with physician assistants. Although the PA's are quite nice and qualified to answer most every question and concern, it would have been nice to speak with the Dr. Baker further at one or more of the follow up visits.rnrnThe office staff is quite pleasant and professional. It is a busy office and they see a lot of patients. My only concern with the office staff was that they are working with so many patients that they may overlook messages to return calls. I had to call a few times in order to get a date scheduled for surgery.rnrnI believe that both MMPC and Blodgett are Centers for Excellence. The practice provides all pre and post operative care. They have behaviorists, nutritionists and physiologists on staff to work with patients.rnrnAfter care is emphasized as well as the attendance of local support groups. Their staff facilitate two monthly support groups in Grand Rapids and there are a number of other local support groups throughout the state that are facilitated by patients who have been trained by the practice.rnrnI would rate this practice as excellent and would recommend MMPC to anyone interested in WLS in Michigan.
Dr. Kemmeter instantly instilled confidence in me. He was patient and assurring. Unlike the office internist who saw me, he allowed me to choose the type of surgery I wanted and fully supported my decision to have LapBand. rnrnThe office staff is very busy, and often overlooks customer service in lieu of doing the office work. I found that I had to be assertive and occasionally aggressive to get appointments set up. My entire process took 4 months, from orientation to surgery.
HE WAS WILLING TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS I MIGHT HAVE. I GOT TO FELL VERY COMFORTABLE WITH HIM FROM DAY ONE.VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND HELPFUL. NOTHING ,I LIKED HIM VERY MUCH. JUST THAT HE IS WELL EXPEREANCE IN HIS FIELD .VERY INPORTANT.YES A VERY STRUCTURED AFTER CARE PROGRAM. TOLD ME ALL THE RISK AND ALSO WRITTEN MATERIAL ON THE RISK.100% THE GREATET.BOTH HE IS VERY GOOD AND IF I HAD TO DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN IT WOULD BE DR RANAL BAKER
Dr Foote was a wonderful surgeon who did my RNY on the 24th of November, and I was home walking around on the 25th. I had no post op complications and very little pain. My biggest problem was car sickness, which they told me about. rnrnI would recommend Dr. Foote to anyone who is in need of a surgeon.
Dr. Foote was awesome since day 1 of meeting him.rnThe staff is knowledgable and ready and willing to help with anything you need.rnrnI would rate Dr. Foote and the staff at MMPC with a 20+ on a scale of 1-10, I seriously have heard horror stories with many surgeons in the area and I can tell you none of them with about this doctor or his staff. rnrnI currently to date have referred 15 people to him with all but 3 having already had the surgery.
My first impression of Dr Foote was WOW!! He is young and good looking!!!rnI was told he was the best of the best and I agree!!! Dr Foote is THE BEST!!!!rnI never had any problems with his office staff at all and was treated very well.rnI liked everything about Dr Foote.rnDr Foote doesn't beat around the bush...he tells you like it is.rnYou must follow the guidelines that are given to you if you want to succeed in this WLS.rnYou must exercise to help you tone up and lose weight. Go to support group meetings which are very beneficial to you. And make sure you get all your protein and water in each and every day along with the vitamins. And also follow-up on your post-op visits.rnAll surgeris have risks. If you do what you are told there should be NO problems.rnOn a scale of 1-10...I would say a 10+!!!! Excellent Dr!!!! rnBoth are great...makes you feel like a human instead of another paycheck.rnGOD BLESS DR. FOOTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!rn
Dr. Kemmeter was absolutely FANTASTIC. I knew I was in good hands when he offered to pray with me before surgery. I would recommend him to anyone.rn------------------rnI have not had my surgery yet, but Dr. Kemmeter was very pleasant, and had a good sense of humor. Definitely put me at ease about the surgery. The staff was also very pleasant. As things progress, I'll post more info.
Dr. Foote was one awesome and very caring gentleman. I am very happy to have him as my surgeon. I would recommend him to anyone would is in this area.
Dr. Kemmeter was very professional, caring and warm. His staff is awesome also. They were always available to answer my questions and concerns.rnHe could see the nervousness on my face before surgery, but he assured me that everything would be fine and it was. I could not have asked for a better surgeon.
