Dr. Foote is awesome. I chose him because he performed my friends surgery last year (July 2006) and I decided that I would see him too; since I saw for myself that he did a great job with her.

My first impression of Dr. Foote was very impressive and he was the one that i want to do my surgery. The office staff was excellent. rnDr. Foote is encouraging during pre-op...and was very helpful to me for after surgery care. I was in a wheelchair before surgery and not able to walk on my own. Also, I was very dependent upon 2 kinds of insulin. Dr. Foote seen to it that I got aftercare by sending my to a rehab place for post surgery care and exercise. I was there for 3 weeks and after going home, I was able to have not one but two physical therapists to come to my home to help me learn how to move about my house after being a couch potato. Through all of that I am now active physically, and after losing 82 lbs. I no longer have to take insulin.rnOverall, I rate Dr. Foote 100%....if I had to do it again, I would....knowing how good and comptent Dr. Foote is.rnBoth surgical competence and bedside manner is very important, which Dr. Foote scored very high with me. He is great in following up with aftercare, as it has been one year since I had surgery and will be making my yearly visit to his office.

So far, so good. He is very nice and respectful. He actually said that I was one of the lighter people that he has seen.

Met Dr. Foote at my orientation this week. He is one of 3 surgeons who do the surgerys, so I may or may not have him. He seems to be very p ersonable, funny, and willing to help you with what is best for you.

1/26/07rn I WENT AND MET DR. BAKER THIS MORNING. I WAS QUITE IMPRESSED WITH HIM. HE SEEMED VERY NICE AND ACTED LIKE A CARING DOCTOR. I THINK FOM EVERYTHING I HAVE LEARNED SO FAR THAT HE WILL BE A GOOD DOCTOR FOR ME. HE SAID THERE SHOULD NOT BE ANY COMPLICATIONS BECAUSE OF MY ANEURYSM! THAT MADE ME FEEL BETTER.rnI HAD MY SURGERY ON MAY 1ST AND I THINK DR. BAKER IS AWESOME. HE MADE ME FEEL VERY COMFORTABLE AND HE SMILED ALOT. HE HAS A GREAT BEDSIDE MANNEER!

Dr. Kemmeter is the best! He is always positive and upbeat. On my 2 weeks post op visit, he gave me the best pep talk. I will never forget it. He told me that the surgery is just a tool. Some people succeed and some fail. In order to be a success, I have to use the tool to the best of my ability. There will be people that \"love you so much, they will make food for you; such as sweets. You have to educate them, that you can not have these foods. If you were an ex-smoker they wouldn't think of offering you a cigarette. It is the same with sweets. Don't touch them again. He also said to throw away the scale and judge by how your clothes are fitting. That will tell you if you are burning fat. Dr. Kemmeter is so caring and understanding. I would highly recommend him to everyone. So, far I have not come across anything negative about his office, the overall plan, it has been a positive experience.

I liked Dr. Kemmeter. He performed my RNY on 4/18/2007. He was an excellent surgeon. Very skilled. Very witty. He put me at ease.rnrnHe, like his staff, at MMPC, seem professional and courteous. Generally, my appointments ran close to schedule. However, my surgeon's consultation with him was brief, after being delayed 45 minutes. My surgery was delayed 3 hours because of an emergency procedure that Dr. Kemmeter needed to perform. Both understandable.rnrnBariatric surgery is a service very much in demand. If your expecting a high level of personal attention, and a tailor-made approach to your situation. I feel you'll be disappointed with MMPC. If, however, you're looking for highly skilled bariatric professionals to plug you into their program, MMPC is perfect for you. rnDD

Dr. Kemmeter spoke at the orientation I was at and he seemed very nice and honest and caring. He was honest about the number of deaths he had and why it happened. He was informative about the risks during surg. He was informative about what not to do after surgery. I have met with him two times since orientation the first time was when I had my EGD done, he performed it. He was very nice then also. The second time was to discuss what type of surgery was right for me. He was very personable and kind. I feel that I will be safe with him as my surgeon. He is also a trauma surgeon which makes me even feel more safe! I will be able to update more soon. After I have my surgery.

Doctor Baker and his staff were all wonderful.rnThey really made me feel comfortable even at 410#. They were there to cheer me and other patients on.rnThe day of my surgery I was scared, not because of Doctor Baker but because of a complication I had with a pervious surgery at a different hospital.rnDoctor Bakers staff told him of my anxiety - he came into the pre-op room to see me and speak with me, telling me I would be fine and he was right and wonderful.rnI would recommend him to one and all.rnOn a scale of 1 - 10 he is a 99.9rn

rnDr Kemmeter is awesome. So nice and professional with a great bedside manner. His skill as a surgeon is unsurpassed. because of my high BMI at surgery, Dr Kemmeter wasn't sure he could insert the lap instruments into me and seriously considered waking me up and having me lose more weight than perform an open operation. In the end he was able to get them in and safely performed the procedure. I received my VSG on 3/21/07 due to Dr Kemmeter's skill and caring. Thanks Doc!rnI owe my life to you. A great surgeon and person.
