My Grandma used to say, \"You never get a second chance to make a good impression\". Well, I have to say the first time I met Dr. Frantzides and Dr. Luu in October 2007, I knew I was where I was supposed to be! I felt comfortable asking questions and Dr. Frantzides was so confident in his explanations and descriptions of the procedure, that I left there excited about the new life I was going to begin! Dr. Frantzides, Dr. Luu and the whole staff did everything possible to assist me in jumping through the insurance hoops and on November 14, 2007, I had a succesful roux-en-y procedure and have never looked back!

Dr. Frantzides performed my gastric bypass and he did a great job. Prior to my surgery, he explained everything I needed to know about the procedure. He took the time to answer all of my questions and I never once felt rushed. His office staff is very kind and helpful as well. I really appreciate all that Dr. Frantzides has done for me and I would highly recommend him to anyone thinking about having gastric bypass.

My sister and my niece had bariatric surgery with Dr. Frantzides and recommended him highly. Dr. Frantzides made me feel comfortable from the beginning. He informed me about the surgery and answered all of my questions. I would recommend him so highly to anyone contemplating having bariatric surgery. I had been overweight my entire adult life. I have done and tried everything to lose weight. I feel that I've gotten my life back and my husband has gotten his wife back! This has been an absolutely life-changing experience. I can now watch my grandson by myself and care for him fully. I love shopping for clothes now, it's fun, not a chore. I can cross my legs and fit behind the steering wheel of my car. I can walk anywhere and everywhere without having to stop to breathe. I can do anything I want to. And I take joy in life. It is so awesome not to be controlled by the food anymore. It has become a non-issue. I completely recommend this surgery and Dr. Frantzides! This has been an incredible experience in every way! I will be grateful for the rest of my life.

Dr. Frantzides preformed two surgeries on my husband for weight lost and it really changed our lives. My husband looked really wonderful; therefore, I had to do an overhall for myself. I had my surgery on March 18, 2003 whic h was the beginning of a new life. Before the Surgery I weighed approxiately 460 lbs which resulted in several health problems; high blood pressure, uncontrolable dietbetic, swelling of the joints, shortness of the breath, couldn't very far and stairs was a no, no. I lost my sexual drive and had no enegry. rnrnAfter the surgery I lost 220 lbs and fell like a new person. I have more enegry and chase my wife. We have really start to enjoy life. I have discovered the person that was inside of me thanks to Dr. Frantides.

I had revision surgery with Dr. Frantzides on January 30, 2007. My surgery was scheduled for 2 hours and ended up taking 6 hours. Much of what Dr. Frantzides had to do was go in a and clean up all of the scar tissue that I had from my previous surgery with the Kane group. The experience was scary for my family and me but Dr. Frantzides made me feel that he had everything under control.rnAs a doctor he is very suave and personable. He is very soothing and inspires confidence and his favorite thing to say is \"you will be fine\". His staff is very helpful and never make me feel like a pest when I call to ask a question. My only complaint is that I would like a printed list of everything I could eat or not eat. Even though I knew that I could call I wanted something to refer to..He was very concerned that I had a good hospital experience. The best part, in my mind, was that I had surgery on Wednesday and on Thursday I was home in my own bed. I had minimal pain and discomfort compared to the Kane group where I was hospitalized for four days and was in severe pain for weeks.rnUnfortunately, I know what it is like to have a painful gastric bypass, Dr. Frantzides showed me that the surgery can be serious without the high level of pain. I am writing this because it is easy to complain when someone does something wrong but not many of us say thank you when it is deserved. Thank you Dr. Frantzides and your entire staff.

It has been 18 months since my Gastric Bypass surgery and I am very happy. My weight loss has been approximately 60 pounds and I am at, my perfect weight, for my height. My quality of life has surpassed my expectations. I have no regrets and the surgery has given me back my life.

When I first met Dr. Frantzides I was suprised how understanding and compassionate he was. I was scared at my first consult but after just a few words he knew how to comfort me. He made me feel like a real person and not the worthless overwieght person I felt like inside. Dr. Frantzides performed my gastric bypass laproscopically on Oct. 10th 2007. Dr. Frantzides and his staff kept me informed on what I would feel and what they were doing. I knew I was in wonderful hands and was not scared at all. I encourage everyone who is overwieght and contemplating Gastric Bypass to see him first. His surgery technique is laproscopic and gentle on the body. I only have 6 little incisions on my stomach. Sometimes I forget I even had the surgery, but I am reminded when I look in the mirror and see the results. His staff is great too they answered all my questions and are very educated about the procedure. Since the surgery I have been on several follow up visits and I am doing great. It was the best decision I have ever made and Dr. Frantzides is the one who made it happen.

When I first came to Dr. Frantzides, my first and lasting impression was (and is!) that he was a Doctor of such confidence in himself and his abilities, that there wasn't a doubt in my mind I was in the best of hands!rnI was scared of the surgery, but I wanted to go through with it. Dr F. has a unique, singular office and bedside manner, that is a great example of \"plain talk\" , making him and the subject at hand a cinch to absorb.rnYou'll feel totally at ease with him, and feel like you're tended by an utter pro! rnrnI'm 6 months out now, and have lost 80 pounds, so I'm quite proud of myself. For a while, though, it was hell! I developed ulcer disorder, and it took a long time to actually diagnose what it was. I suffered miserably for a while. A CT scan given me did confirm how well I looked inside (said to be \"phenomenal\") rnwhich showed how well Dr F. did his work.rnrnAm I glad I had the R-Y bypass done? Absolutely! (Although at times in the first month I wish i hadn't...) Nothing I ever did before was ever this effective. rnrnDr F. has a great office staff, and I got a fantastic assessment of the risks, and an absolutely clear layout of all the facts about the surgery. Hello everyone! I am a 25 year old female and I have had the 'Gastric Bypass' surgery. It has been a wonderful experience for me. I started at 215lbs when I met the surgeon but with his help and guidance, I have lost 60lbs in six months and have a BMI of 24. Although weight loss varies in each person, his team have helped me overcome my weight concerns. He, alongside his team, are very helpful, warm, caring and compassionate people. Dr. Frantzides has given me my old life back but now it will be better. Now I have people who motivate me to lose weight even when I am not in the office. I walked into his office scared out of my mind because it was the scariest decision I had to face, but within moments he aliviated those fears. He gave me the trust I needed to follow through with the surgery. Although I came into his office without prior healthcare concerns, he made me feel great about the decision. I thank him for all his help and attention before and after surgery. He has become a very important person in my life because I owe him who I have become now.
