Wow, my first time meeting Dr. Regan was at the orientation training where he was explaining everything. When I went for my first vist he really cares and listen to my concerns. His staff is great anytime that I have had a question they have answered it and they are very helpful. I can't say enought about them.
Dr. Siverhus is soft spoken but very direct. His staff is also very direct. Sue Dugan is very helpful, as is Mari, and the dietician. So far my impressions have been good of the entire staff.rnrnI am now 1 wk post-op. Dr. Siverhus was fabulous. My family and friends found him very open in explaining everything after my surgery. rnrnAs for myself, I was surprised to see him 4 times the day after my surgery always very concerned about everything. I found him to be very cautious and conservative regarding my treatment after my blood sugar and blood pressure soared. By the next day, all my vitals returned to normal.rnrnI paged Dr. Siverhus once regarding some bruising last night. He called back within 2 minutes! Now that's a surgeon!
He is a first class doctor that has time for his clients and their questions. Make you feel like you are important to him as a person and not just a patient. The office staff is beyond a 10!! He is a family man and in his job he has a genuine and caring spirit. Aftercare is emphasized by ALL...so important. We talked in length about risks and they answered all my questions whenever I had them. Over all I don't give many people a 10 because then they don't have much to excel to, so saying that I will give Dr. Regan a 9.75. Both the competence and bedside manner are excellent.
Dr Siverhus was my surgeon, I had a lap RNY 12/20/2007. I enjoyed Dr Siverhus from the first time I met him. I found him to be cordial and genuine in his interest in helping me. The Bariatric Center at Columbia Hospital in Milwaukee really emphasizes proper preparation prior to surgery as well as the importance of support groups and after care. The staff at the Bariatric Center is phenomenal!
I can say when I 1st met my soon to be surgeon, I was quite nerious. I really don't know why, but I was. Having any type of surgery, especailly being my 1st major surgery, is very emotional. He assured me that I was in good hands. A personal friend recommended him to me and from the looks of it, I feel VERY comfortable in having myself in his care.
Dr. Regan is a great bariactric surgeon, and doctor. His staff and himself work as a team to help you thru the toughest times, he has great bedside manner! I recoommend him very highly!! He addressed the risks of surgery very well, and he also answered any questions that my husband had also ! I have no complaints or dislike about him, but he does push taking care of yourself after surgery, and to call his office if you have any questions and or problems!!! rnThere is a structtered aftercare program but it is up to you to follow it!
Dr. Siverhus was very concerned for my welfare and very honest about the expectations he had for me with the surgery. He did an excellent job and had I would do this again in a heartbeat. It is amazing that he can do a little bit of cutting and rerouting and 4 days later I was eating comfortably. He also is very kind and personable and has a strong dedication to his patients. The entire staff at columbia is excellent! They have been very responsive to any issues that have come up and treated me with the upmost respect.
My first impression of Dr. Severhus was that he was very serious. But, that was fine with me, surgery is serious buisness. However now that I have met with him a few times I have seen a smile or two from him and even heard a few jokes cracked. I think he has the perfect balance of professionalism and relaxed interpersonal interaction. The staff at the Bariatric Center at St. Mary's are great. They only met me once, then a month later when I came back they remembered me. Since I am fairly early in my pre-surgery treck I know I have a lot more to experience.
When I met Doctor Regan the first time he seemed like he knew his stuff he was very positive that I would be a good candidate. The staffs at the center were very good. Answering any questions I had calling to see how I was doing just a great bunch of people. Doctor Regan has a very good bed side manner and he tells it like it is. I would say the he is one of the surgeons I have seen and have work on me. Thanks to him i will be able to reach my goals.
