I first saw Dr. Fullum at a support group for wls paitents. He was very honest with his answers and answered all questions that were asked of him.
His office staff, they are nice enough but I had some trouble with having my results faxed more then once because they said they didn't get them.
What I liked the best about Dr. Fullum is that he made me laugh. A good bedside manner is so important.
Dr. Fullum is really easy on the eyes. A very tall, and handsome man.
I chose Dr. Fullum out of three I had interviewed. He is a Christian man and that is very important to me.

The first time I saw Dr. Fullum, it was at a support group meeting. I was very impressed. He had a lot of commendations, he is head of the surgery at three different hospitals. Over time, I met his office staff they were very nice, I have never had a problem with them. I actually expected them to be totally different. The only problem that I have was with the wait time. But from talking with other patients it is worth the wait. I will post more after surgery.

Dr. Fullum was very personable and so was his staff. From day one I felt comfortable and relaxed. Also what I like about his program is that you go to support group meetings once a month. Also I know most surgeons and/or drs leave you a month or two after the surgery. With his program you see him yearly after your follow-up and 6 week visit.

In his open house he was straight forward concerning the risks. He told how many surgeries he had and what number were complications.

I would give him an outstanding rating. I would not have chosen any other surgeon.

I think surgical competence and bedside are a plus.

Only thing negative is that he has a lot of patients so he was late for all appts that I had with him. He is a very busy guy.

I was impressed with Dr. Fullum from the first WLS class that I attended.

My impression of Dr. Fullum got even better.

He gas a great office staff. I am still impressed even though the office coordinator was changed. I like the new office coordinator just as well.

Dr. Fullum is very good and busy. His is so good and busy that my last consultation before surgery had to be rescheduled because he was called into emergency surgery. I had taken off work just for that visit, I was not pleased. I rescheduled for the saturday before my surgery and the wait was worthwhile. Dr. Fullum answered all of my questions and rest assured all of my fears.

I would like future patients to know that Dr. Fullum is not only a good professional Dr. he is also very easy on the eyes. He is really busy.

Dr. Fullum emphasizes aftercare and checks on his patients. He has a structured aftercare program and monitors your progress at your office visits.

Dr. Fullum talks about the risks of surgery during his classes and during your last consultation before surgery.

I rate Dr. FUllum as a very good Doctor that cares for his patients.

Surgical competence is better but you need both.

DR FULLUM WAS A GREAT SURGEON, I WOULD NOT TAKE ANYTHING AWAY FROM HIM, I APPRECIATE EVERYTHING HE HAS DONE FOR ME. I THANK GOD FOR THE SURGERY AND THE SURGEON EVERYDAY FOR ALLOWING ME THE OPPORUNITY TO HAVE THE SURGERY. DR. FULLUM AND HIS STAFF HAVE BEEN MOST HELPFUL WHEN EVER YOU NEED THEM, THEY HAVE BEEN VERY THROUGH AT ANSWERING ALL MY QUESTIONS WHE ASKED. DR. FULLUM OVERALL HAS BEEN THE BEST SURGEON THAT I HAVE HAD THROUGHOUT ALL MY SURGERIES THAT WERE PERFORM ON ME.

I saw Dr. Fullum at one of his seminars at Holy Cross Hospital. My first thoughts of him were that he seems to be very caring and humble. I meet him in person for the first time on 3/15.

What can I say about Dr. Tran except he is the most caring and skilled surgeon I have ever dealt with. He not only makes you completely comfortable before the surgery but after he is just great.

If anybody decides to get any bariatric surgery Dr. Tran is one of the best and Laurie Jordan the nutritionist is also great and very caring.

I dont know what to say here.
Dr. Fullum is a very skilled surgeon. I only wish that he wasnt so busy because I think he may have more patients than he has time for.
Anyway, its been 5 months and counting, and I feel pretty good.

I thought Dr. Tran and his staff were terrific. While recovering I had to call and discuss a problem I was having. He called me right back.
He works through Bridgeport Hospitals Weight Management Center. They do have an aftercare program that they strongly suggest you follow through with. They have monthly support group meetings
Everything regarding what to expect was described in detail.
I'm very shy and not the most talkative person and he just started answering questions that he thought I may have...which was helpful.
What was most comforting, was that he prayed with me prior to surgery. I just thought that was special.

He is great! He is very kind and a good listener. His staff is great, speacially Laurie- she is the BEST. Doctor Tran not only emphasizes aftercare but he is also very concern about you preop. You have to start on a diet before surgery, what I think is great. He spends a lot of time with you and he covers every aspect of the surgery. It really prepares you to be successful. He is very honest about the procedure and he tells you straight forward about the complications and risks involved with the surgery.
