My first impression of Dr. Fullum was that he was handsome and kind. I only met him once so my impression has remained the same, His office staff though great when you are in front of them are disorganized. I hated that he was so buys! i hate the lack of contact after sugery. if I do not call them they do not call me. I feel like I need more guidance than I am recieving and therefore will not get to my goal weight any time soon. No structured aftercare program. Both surgical competence and bedside manner are necessary.

My first impression of Dr. Fullum was the same as many other patient's.... He was very pleasing to the eyes. Dr. Fullum was very knowledgable and made me feel very comfortable. He explained all the benefits and risks associated with this procedure. His office staff is very professional any very easy to talk to. He emphasizes education, so you will have total understanding of the entire process of this life-changing surgery. Dr. Fullum is an outstanding physician that I have had the pleasure to encounter. If you are searching for a knowledgable surgeon with an excellent bedside manner, give him a try!

Dr. Fullum and his staff are wonderful people and have definitely made the journey to WLS a great one! I am so thankful that I followed Dr. Fullum to his new office in Baltimore! During my pre-op visit Dr. Fullum explained every step of the surgery to me in great detail and the program at UM-Baltimore is very thorough and comprehensive. I highly recommend Dr. Fullum and I have heard rave reviews of the program at UMD. I know that my surgery will be a success because Dr. Fullum puts you at ease and answers all your questions.

11/18/2006rnrnDr. Tran and Dr. Halmi and Natalie truly have my appreciation. I went to see Dr. Halmi and Natlie on Thursday and was okay at the time of the appointment. Natalie was really great about talking to me and answering some questions that I had. She even had done some online research for a question I had, which really made me feel like I actually mattered. After I left the office I went home and ate lunch. That's when I really started feeling bad and ended up calling the office. I talked to Natalie and Dr. Tran and they told me to see how I felt, and to call the doctors after hours if I needed to. Well, I needed to, and long story short, Dr. Halmi and Dr. Tran made sure I got into the hospital and was admitted right to the surgical floor. They both checked in on me and made sure to get the results from my endoscopy almost as soon as I was done. They've both been so great through all of the complications I've had. Hopefully now I'll just see them for regular follow-ups!rnrnrn10/15/06rnrnDr. Tran has been the absolute best. His entire staff, along with Dr. Halmi, have really helped to make this the best experience it could be, even with the complications I've had. Both doctors have not hesitated to help me, even after hours. They've both made it a point to come into the hospital when I've been there and have kept me up to date on test results as they receive them. Natalie is a really knowledgable and friendly dietician. I have worked with a few in the past, but Natalie seems to really know her business.rnrnDr. Tran was very open and answered all of my questions from the first time I met him. He's continued to be very open and friendly in the entire time I've known him.rnrnThe staff at the office is very friendly. They do get a bit busy and hasselled, but that is a given in such a busy office.rnrnThere's really not anything I would change about Dr. Tran or Halmi.rnrnI would tell future patients to just make sure to have all of their questions ready, as Dr. Tran is ready and willing to answer them all.rnrnDr. Tran really emphasized the need for aftercare. He and Natalie, the nutritionist, made sure I was well prepared before surgery for what I would face afterwards.rnrnDr. Tran made me very aware of the risks of surgery so I knew what to expect.rnrnI would say Dr. Tran's and Dr. Halmi's bedside manner is great.

MY FIRST IMPRESSION OF DR. FULLUM WAS...I'M GLAD THAT I WILL HAVE A FINE SPECIMINE WORKING ON MY BODY.(~~smile~~)rnNO REALLY, HE WAS VERY INFORMATIVE AND CARING TO THE OBESE PATIENT. NOTHING ABOUT HIS MANNERISM WAS BAD IN ANY WAY. ALONG WITH THE OFFICE STAFF. THEY TOO WERE VERY KIND AND SENSITIVE TO THE OBESE PATIENT. rnTHE AFTERCARE PROGRAM IS GREAT. THEY HAVE IT SET UP WHERE I WILL SEE THE MEDICAL DOCTOR (DR. TENIA TAPSCOTT) FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE. THAT WAS GOOD NEWS TO MY EARS. WHEN I HAD MY SURGERY, DR. FULLUM WAS WITH ANOTHER PRACTICE. HE IS NOW IN A BALTIMORE OFFICE. I DON'T KNOW MUCH ABOUT THE STAFF AT THAT OFFICE, BUT I KNOW THAT THEY HAVE TO BE GOOD 'CAUSE A GOOD SURGEON WON'T SETTLE FOR LESS WHEN IT COMES TO HIS PATIENTS.rnrnTHE STAFF AT THE PROVIDENCE OFFICE KNEW THEIR JOBS AND IF THEY DIDN'T I DIDN'T KNOW. THEY NEVER MADE ME FEEL LIKE THEY WERE INCOMPETENT, THAT'S A GOOD THING. ALSO, DR. FULLUM'S BEDSIDE MANNER WAS WONDERFUL. JUST BEFORE SURGERY, HE CAME IN TO CHECK ON ME AND MADE ME FEEL LIKE I WAS THE MOST IMPORTANT PATIENT HE'S DEALT WITH. I KNOW I WASN'T AND THAT HE TREATS ALL OF HIS PATIENTS THE SAME, BUT THE FEELING IS WHAT MADE THE DIFFERENCE. OVERALL I WOULD RATE DR. FULLUM 100%. HE WAS THE BEST AND I'M GLAD I DECIDED ON HIM AND NO OTHER SURGEON. rnrnTHESE ARE JUST MY PERSONAL IMPRSSIONS OF MY OWN PERSONAL EXPERIECE AND I AM MAKING NO STATEMENT ABOUT WHAT OTHER PEOPLE MAY EXPERIENCE.

Hi, My name is Paula and I am a post op patient of Dr. Fullum. I knew that I was in good hands with Dr. Fullum for many reasons. He was very informative and patient. He answered all questions and encouraged everyone to ask all concerns. The details that were given at the meetings and even during the office visit eventually made me comfortable with the surgery. The sugery was an extreme success and I had absolutly no pain at all. I am very grateful to Dr. Fullum and his staff for allowing God to use them to save my life. I am very thankful that he performed my surgery. His bedside manners are exceptional and he is highly proffessional. I think he has a special mission by God to take those of us seriously who come to him with our lives hanging in the balance due to obesity.

My first impression of Dr. Fullum was he is honest and I feel comfortsble with him. He answered all my questions and made me feel that the surgery was a goal that I could achieve.
I really enjoy the staff. I live in Montgomery Village MD and getting to the office is a drive for me so my chldren alway attend with and they love the staff memebers as well. My 12 yr old son has a crush on Dr. Tapscott.
My overall view of Dr. Fullum and his weight managerment staff is they care. They are there for you and they work hard right long with you to get your surgery approve.
After completing my 3 months of weight management plan my paperwork was submitted to Aetna on 11/7/05.

Wow onw week later and I am approved. Dr. Fullum's staff are the best they handled everything. I have to admit that I was stressing that it would take a long time to be approved. I was approved and I have a surgery date of 12/12/05 at holy cross Hospital. My friends and family asked me if I was scared I looked at them and said nope I'm to excited to b scared.
