Last night during our support group Dr. K told me that he had seen Marilyn on Monday following her 5th emergency surgery. He indicated that she is doing well and the 5th surgery was merely (yeah, right!) for wound debriedment (?sp?). He said that she is recovering nicely but it will be a long, hard walk for her. She will probably remain 'asleep' for another week and they hope to take her off the ventilator soon. The support she is receiving from this website is incredible - thank you all for your kind words to her. I am putting together a scrapbook for her to look at when she's awake again (the chronicle of her journey) and her surgery page is going to be one of the first things she will see when she opens the book. Thank you all for your prayers and positive outlooks -- please remember to keep her in your prayers! Hugs and blessings!!
