Darlene, I am so sorry you are having so many problems. I am praying for you that God will watch over you and heal your body fast. he is an awesome God!!!!!

Hi all, sorry the last one was soooo short but I was literaly out the door as I was writing, lol. Sorry if I spell anything wrong, mom always tried to get me to spell better but here I am at 24 an still have to ask how to spell some words, lol. My hubby is a great dicionary for my, lol. Anyway, she went into the hospital er on Fri night because she basicly wasn't getting enough oxygen. When she got there they ran all kinds of tests and found out that she had the begining signs of pneumonia and later diagnosed w/ sleep apnea. They have her on a pap make, I don't know what it is called only what it does, it forces her to breath in the oxygen. She will have to come home w/ it. She is in ICu because the dr felt she would get better care, they are thinking that maybe tomorrow they will put her on a regular floor and think she will be up there for about 3 or 4 days. She doesn't want to rush it, and I don't either, well thank you for ur support and prayer, Lisa.

YOU ARE THE MOST COURAGEOUS AND INSPIRING PERSON I HAVE EVER READ ABOUT! I CONGRATULATE YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART, ON THE PROGRESS YOU HAVE ALREADY MADE. ok just a quick note to anyone who reads this real quick, mom is about to go back to the hospital for something I don't know the details yet I will let u know as i know them i was just about to leave to be w/ her so just lift her up in ur prayers. ty and they are greatly apriceated, Lisa.

Darlene - I am so proud of you. You will lose so quickly now! You have done the right thing. I know it was rough but you will make it. I will be following your progress. Almost two years ago I weighed 302 lbs; I now weigh 138 (after r-n-y surgery. I am 57 years old. I can't believe it. I wish you much success and good health. Sudy in Ohio

Darlene: You rock!!!!! Congratulations on your homecoming - I'm sure your so happy to be home with your family and your familiar surroundings. You are truly a inspiration to me, I have read your bio several times and it just touches my heart. I am currently awaiting my consult with the surgeon on 8/18 and at times I do find myself getting a little jittery and second guessing my decision - but I then go back and read outstanding bio's like yours and know that I too can make this successful journey to the loosing side, I just keep telling myself I also have a greater chance at this life altering decision and surviving than I would after a heart attack or heart by-pass surgery. Again congratulations and I look forward to read more on your posts - God Bless....

Hi all it has been a few days, my comp isn't working right and had to borrow mom's while she is in the hospital, she is doing real well and might get to come home on Fri. They are talking about taking the Trak out, not sure on that one. And maybe coming home w/o the cathader. They have been talking to the ins people I guess and are going to have a wheelchair for her when she comes home and already have a potty chair waiting for her when she gets home. She still isn't sure if a hosp. type bed would be good for her or not she seems to be able to move around and get up better in her own bed. Well that is about all the new news I have talk to u all soon, Lisa.
