Hello Justin, just wanted to wish you luck on your surgery. Just like you I am having surgery on the same day and I know how hard it is to have patience, but I am glad you are doing good. I know it is hard to hear some of the critisism and/or comments friends and family have, but keep in mind that you are doing this for yourself and like you said they probably don't know what it's like. You will do great!!

Justin...Just wanted to say good luck to you on your upcoming surgery! I'm sure you will do fabulous! And don't let people get you down...they can have their opinions but ultimately you and your decision is what is important. I'm still in the pre-approval process but for the first time in my life I do not care what others think of my decision and no one can sway me like what usually happens in my cases. You will do great in life and this will be the tool to accomplish greater things! Rootin' 4 Ya!

Hi Justin...just one more week to wait. I'll be thinking good thoughts for you on 4/11. You know people... friends & family will give their opinion, but in the end you must listen to your own heart and do what's best for you. So keep the faith!

Hi Justin, I wanted to wish you the best of luck in your upcoming surgery. Keep thinking positive, don't let anyone get you down. This is one of the best things you can truely do for yourself. It is hard at first, I am 10 weeks post-op. Every day gets a little easier. Like I said, good luck with the surgery, recovery, and weight loss. ~Sandy

Hello again, you mentioned your friends said you will never be happy eating smaller portions, well, I am 4 weeks out at right now, it is hard. I had a little tantrum last weekend when my friend and I went out because I wanted to take big bites and eat whatever I wanted. I can tell you, after months of reading the message board here, YOU WILL BE EATING LARGER PORTIONS in a few months. Everyone recommends just enjoy not eating for the first few months because after about 6 months you are able to eat more and sometimes you really WANT to eat more. It sounds like your friends care about you. That is great.
