Amy, thanks for your kind words. I am so anxious and don't have any support in this one horse town I live in. so I am really relying on my new friends that can relate. good luck to you and I will keep posting my progress.

Hi Amy, Good luck with your upcoming surgery. Thanks for your kind words. My surgery is scheduled for 06-05-03--and yours is scheduled for my "real" birthday 06-18-03. May God hold you and keep you through this time. I know the anxiety is a killer. Best of luck to you. I'll watch for you updates.

~AMY~ MAY I ADD MY TWO CENTS ON UR POST...SOME PPL CAN DO IT AND SOME CANNOT... WISH HER WELL AND GO FOR IT.. I HAVE FOUGHT FOR A NICE SLIM FIGURE ALL MY LIFE.. AND NOW IT IS ME AND GOD, I KNOW I CANNNOT DO IT BY MY SELF.. SO I AM NOW USEING MY TOOL.. OR WILL BE AS SOON AS I HAVE MY SURGERY.. GOD BLESS U AND HAVE A SAFE AND HEALTHY JOURNEY... LOVEDOVE

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. ... Gal. 5 vs.............................. Freedom...freedom to move..freedom to do the things that we were not able to do for so long...freedom to live. No longer will you be a slave to this issue of weight and all that it has brought you. You are finally free!!!!................................ I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge--that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Eph 3.16..................................... Power..now you have the power to stregnthen yourself. Be empowered! go out and encourage those that need to be encourage. those who are thinking about wls... share you journey with others so that they too can become empowered and....................................... In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven. .............................. Give praise to the heavenly Father that has watched over you!! He has kept you through these procedures and has kept you safe. He has enabled you to over come this issue of weight and will allow you to shine... shine your light!!! and....................................... Anyone who receives instruction in the word must share all good things with his instructor. Gal. 6 and.................... share the good news that has been shared with you.. tell everyone about your jounery...every detail share.... so that others will learn and be empowered... Thanks so much for posting to my page until you and a few others stopped by I thought no one cared (smiles). Thank you for your words of encouragement. My surgery date is June 2 and I can't wait. Lets keep in touch!

Amy, Thanks so much for your email. It is so great to get encourgaing words from fellow AMOS friends. I have been doing great but still working on figuring out what to eat and when to eat. But it is a chance to change my life and I am going for it:-) So glad to see you are about to embark on this journey as well. I hope your recovery is as smooth as mine. Thanks again.

Hello Amy, Thank you for the nice email. I went in and read your bio! June 18th will be here before you know it, time will really fly fast. I can hardly wait for you to have surgery. You will feel fabulous. Also the feeling of well being is tremendous! This is the best thing that has ever happened to me! You mentioned mood swings. Heard a cute joke today. "My husband bought me a mood ring so he could monitor my moods better. When I'm happy it's green. When I'm mad it makes the biggest red mark right in the middle of his forehead!" I lauhed until I cried! I also think like you, Clay has got to win! I am also addicted! I as so mad when I heard that the country won't give Rueben the win becasue an idol shouldn't be overweight! BAH! Please keep me posted on your upcoming surgery! Keep thinking positive...it's the best! The day I left home to have surgery I felt just like I do when I leave to go shopping...not nervous at all! This has truly ben a wonderful journey. Hope your is the same way!
