Amy....I am having surgery tomorrow and cant wait!! I am just like you...so tired of being tired. Right now I should be cleaning my house but I dont feel like it! Why?? I AM TIRED! I have noticing that the last few months I have asked my kids to do things such as getting me a drink, or throwing something away for me, or answering the phone. I feel like I am letting them down. I have a two story house and walking up the stairs causes my legs to hurt and makes me out of breath. I am ONLY 34 too! I feel like I am 60! Tomorrow is the start of my new life and it wont be long before you start your new life! Think how good we will feel by Christmas??? Feels like a dream huh?

Hi Amy, Many of the protein drinks mix with water. I use Designer Whey and it's great w/ water. Also, if you really want the milk, try Lactaid. It really works! Best wishes for great loses.

Hello Amy - Congratulations on your upcoming surgery! You'll find the changes with WLS nothing short of a miracle. I've prayed, wished and hoped over the last 20 years to have a "second chance" at being healthier and thinner - I never thought I would get that chance but I did and so will you. My humble advice? Walk, walk and walk after surgery. Get in your protein, even if it means plugging your nose and chugging it back in baby pouch gulps. Vitamins need to be chopped, minced, crushed, pureed? ...whatever it takes to get them in daily, deal wit' it. : )~ And let's not forget our new best(est) friend. Water. It will ALL be worth it, I promise!! One more thing, remember to CELEBRATE all the special moments, big or small. Too many people focus on the number, ie. weight. There are many "moments" to look forward to and embrace - don't let any slip by. Enjoy your new healthier life, you've earned it!! Hugs -
