Hi Amy just wanted to respond to your post on the message board..I got my surgery date on Thursday and Now it has become a little scary..it is all I can think about and I am a little nervous. Everyone that I have have spoken to about it(post-ops) said that they became more nervous as the date approached..good luck to you and congratulations..my date is September 24th..see you on the losing side!!!!

Dear Amy: I just wanted to tell you, the nerves are a very natural part of this process. IF you weren't nervous, I'd wonder what kind of drugs you were on. ha ha. Seriously, my surgery is tomorrow and I am literally at peace. I know what I am facing, and I know it is worth the 3 or 4 days of bad pain, and the 6 weeks of being tired. Heck, I'm exhausted now! You are young, that is in your favor. I am thrilled that you are taking this step to free yourself from the prison of morbid obesity. I am setting myself free tomorrow. I'll see you on the other side.

Yes Amy, after your get your surgery date it seem you head get filled with these crazy, mix-up feeling!! The waiting can be very stressful. Please stay strong and just keep thinking about being on the loosing side!!
