Carol, Oh I am so glad your wait has ended and you are on the other side. Way to go!!! Sounds like you are doing better each hour and soon you won't need those pain meds. I pray that it is all smooth sailing from here. Congratulations!!!

Angel flying in. Carol was resting comfortably when I left the hospital. It was the first decent sleep she has had since the surgery. She is still experiencing the stomach spasms and it is really painful but they are decreasing in intensity. They are going to take the IV out around 7:00 pm. She will be taking her pain medication orally after that. It will be better for her because she won't be as groggy. Thank You for all your prayers and thoughts. I copied all of the posts and took them into her this morning. She LOVED them and wanted me to thank everyone. Angel Signing off, Ed.

I found the library next to the hospital so I can update you more often on Carol. She is still in a lot of pain. She didn't rest very good last night and she is having problems with spasms in her stomach area. I helped her walk to x-ray this morning and the x-rays came back No Leaks, everything was good. So they will be taking her IV out in a little bit. She keeps wanting to fall asleep. I keep threatning her to share her medication but she wants to keep it all for herself. LOL. I'm heading back to the hospital to see her. I'll try to get back on-line before I leave for the evening.

What a wonderful, supportive husband. I'm so happy for you Carol and pray that God continues to hold your hand through the rest of your journey. YOu've done great! You're a survivor!
