Second dining out experience

I ended up going out longer than expected and didn't have dinner planned. My friend wanted to go to Chipotle. We decided she was going to get soft tacos and get one of them chicken and cheese only for me. I emptied out the contents and gave her the tortilla. I got the sour cream on the side, dipped my fork in the sour cream and then into a piece of chicken with melty cheese. MMM MMM It was so good.
It's such a wonderful feeling to feel satisfied on so little. It's weird really. I left my plate with food on it today and yesterday!! It's weird, but empowering to put the fork down and be done eating when there is still delicious food left.
I did not do well with my water today. I broke my streak. :( My goals for tomorrow, wake up, workout, shower, clean my room, laundry, and not to come online until after 4:30pm. I need to get into the routine of working all day, so I will work on things around the house for the day.

I drove past a Dino's Gyros the other day and thought "hmm, I wonder if I could have gyro meat?" I used to order sides of gryos, never ate them with the pita before. You can order a side of chicken gryos for $1.99. A side is supposed to be 2oz, just the right amount for me right now. I think they definitely gave me more than 2oz. I will get a couple of meals out of this. 12g of protein per 2oz, 90 calories. Not too bad. I don't know how well they will reheat, but I will try tomorrow.
Since I could tell it was definitely more than a 2oz serving they gave me and didn't have a scale handy, I ate until I had a satisfied feeling. I am not sure if that's what I felt tonight, but as good as it was tasting, I knew I was done. I made it through about half of my side order of chicken gryos. It's a hard to describe feeling. I'm still learning and trying to find my satisfied cue from my new pouch.
I need to figure out a routine for my vitamins.

189.4 I am doing everything right. I am tracking every meal and water and even vitamins on fitday.com and I am doing well!!! I am getting my protein in and the past 3 days has been perfect with water. Yesterday I missed one of my calcium supplements and one of my Actigall for gallstone prevention. Other than that I have been doing exactly what I need to do.
Maybe I will quit getting a decaf latte for a couple of days, see if that helps at all? I know it's perfectly normal to be where I am and not have the scale moving. I mean hell, I did just lose about 15lbs in the past 3 weeks, well it happened pretty quick right after surgery, in the first 2 weeks I think, but now my weight has been around the same 2lbs for the past 2 weeks. I need to measure. Tomorrow is my regular measuring day but I won't be home in the morning. I will weigh and measure on Monday.
I'm not freaking out. I know this is normal, I know it's just a matter of time and the number on that scale will drop some more. 15lbs and it's not even been a month yet, that's incredible!! I just need to keep doing what I am doing and my hard work and diligence will pay off. Soon I hope! LOL

189.6 I took my national certification exam this morning and I passed!!! WOO HOO!!!! What a relief! Huge weight off of my shoulders!
Still loving that pork tenderloin!! I have one more meal left out of the half I cooked up the other day. I should run to the grocery store for some more yogurt and see if I can find some turkey sausage. I think that'd be good with breakfast. Ooooh, I need some provolone! I have some roast beef lunch meat which goes great with provolone and nuked in the microwave.
Went to the bar tonight to celebrate passing my test. I brought two packets of the mix in propel packets and used both of them and drank all of my water!! I have been GREAT with my water the past 3 days. I think I got sick of water, and crystal lights. I have been drinking propel and it's going down pretty good.

188.6 It feels sooooo good to be eating normal food!!! I am in love with pork tenderloin!! It was so easy to cook, it turned out perfect, and it tastes awesome!! I will definitely be getting these in the future. I got two, they were buy one get one free. I cut the mesquite bbq one in half, froze half of it, cooked the other half, shared it with my best friend last night for dinner, had it for lunch and will probably be able to get at least 2 more meals out of the half I cooked up!! I have lemon garlic in the freezer too.
For dinner I am going to try the Hormel Turkey Chili with no beans. We'll see how that goes. Everything I have had so far has been awesome and has gone down well and not made me sick. It all tastes so good too! LOL I'm finding it's much easier to get my 3 meals in, and 2 protein supplements throughout the day than it was on liquids or pureed.

Wow moment today

I put on my big clunky sketchers that I wear for weather like this. I noticed the laces were really loose. When I got to the grocery store I bent over and tied my shoes....while I was sitting in the driver's seat!!! That felt good.

188.6 I love soft foods. I feel so much more normal to be eating regular food. No more liquids, no more pureed!

1/2 piece string cheese 8g protein
L: 1/4 cup lowfat vanilla yogurt

Soft Foods!!!

190 Technically I am to move onto soft foods tomorrow. I have been having a really hard time focusing on 3 meals and water in between. I have just been having slim-fast low carb shakes for the past 3 weeks. Sometimes 3/day sometimes 2/day. I have definitely been skipping meals because I forget or am just not hungry. I am going to move onto soft foods. I think it's more important I try to focus on 3 meals and getting in my nutrients.
I just got done with some tuna salad, a little tuna, light miracle whip, chopped up onions and pickles. It was really good. It went down well. I'm not hungry, so how can I tell if I am full? I just ate 3tbsp and never got an uncomfortable feeling or anything like that. I'm still not hungry. Maybe I will go have a little slice of cheese to go with it.

I am experimenting with foods during my pureed stage. Chicken with chicken broth just doesn't sound appetizing. I want FLAVOR!!! LOL
For lunch today I mixed together 1 mini 3oz can of chicken with 3tbsp Hunts No Sugar Added Italian Seasoning Sauce. Once pureed, I added a little shredded mozarella and zapped it in the microwave. I mixed the cheese in and added some parmesan cheese and microwaved it a little more and mixed it all up. Tastes pretty good.
Note to self, 3-4tbsp of the same thing for a meal is not very good. Must have a tbsp of a few different things.

First Pureed Meal

I chose to go really easy with my first pureed meal. I had 4tbsp of cottage cheese. Which on my plan I don't actually have to puree, I just need to chew chew chew cottage cheese.
One thing I learned? Variety, a whole meal of the same stuff is boring. Hmm, next time I think I will have a tbsp of pureed peaches or pineapple or something to go along with the cottage cheese.
I've got cottage cheese packed for my breakfast tomorrow too. By lunch I will really be craving that chicken!!
