I have had my first meeting with him. He seems very nice. He did a scope test to see if my GERDS did any damage. I was really afraid, he understood and did a great job in making me feel ready. I called him the next day about the results. I was sooo pleased HE CALLED ME BACK not a nurse. I feel very comfortable in him doing my RNY. He said it would be sometime the first two weeks in Nov.

Doctor Hong is absolutely amazing! He is soooo friendly, and goes above and beyond (he was willing to drive me home after an endoscopy since i didnt realize i wouldnt be allowed to take myself home, even on the bus)! He has done an excellent job all around. He has a subtle sense of humor, but does have one, which is very appreciated. His staff is awesome and the whole group seems to get along and make you feel very welcome. I am extremely pleased with my choice for a surgeon and clinic! ~Peace~ Amy

Very Professional, makes you feel comfortable. Office staff also very nice. He really emphasizes about post-op check-ups.

I was very impressed with Dr. Hong. He seems very caring and concerned about having good results.

I love Dr. Hong, he is by far one of the best doctors I have ever had. I would recommend him highly to anyone who is interested in having gastric bypass or any abdominal surgery. He is very friendly and has a great bedside manner. I have met all the surgeons in this practice and I really like them all. He is very knowledgeable, asked me lots of questions and made sure I understood everything. When I had complications he was there every step of the way and came to see me at least once if not twice a day while I was in the hospital, even on weekends he was there. He also would call my mom and update her, going so far as to give us his own personal cell phone number in case I had problems or questions. He is very cautious and really cares about his patients. The office staff at Oregon Weight Loss surgery are all fabulous. Any questions I had were answered right away, when ever I call with a problem I get a call back within a couple hours. They did all the work for me regarding my insurance.

Dr Hong was awesome. I came with a grocery list of questions to ask. He was totally patient and understood the impact this procedure has on ones life.

He did not bat an eye and answered all of the questions with precision detial. I asked him if he was goint to have the procedure which one he would have and asked him to be honest about outcomes of various procedures. He was very comforting and knowlegabel about what he does.

I apreciated his patince and obvious knowledge. I will update more after surgery.

Being done with the surgery is a blessing and Dr. Hong was very thourough and so knowlegable. My parents were very impressed with him. They were given the update by him and he was very well spoken and did not speak above their heads in the way some people do. He found a leak before completing the surgery and tied it up so there were not any further complications. I really can not say what that means to me. The fact that it was not found the next day and the process having to start all over relieved me greatly.

I woul definatley suggest Dennis Hong to ANYONE considering it.

Dr. Hong seems be be very dedicated to this.
My first impression is that he is personable and very itelligent. He made me feel very calm and comfortable during my pre op appointment. He was ill with a cold, but was still not rushed and was very courtious and would of spent as much time during the pre op that I needed.

Dr. Hong has been wonderful! My first impression of him was that he was kind, patient, and really cared about my health and how it relates to ME, not everyone else.

The staff at Dr. Hong's office is always very pleasant and helpful. I haven't had any issues.
