Dr. Halmi: I believe is a well knowledgeable surgeon. He was up and honest with everything I asked. He did not deny to answer anything. I feel real comfortable with him and his nursing staff. So far they all seem to be real nice. And cater to large people.

I would recommend him to anyone.

My first impression of Dr. Halmi was he was very nice. He went over the procedure with me, asked if I had questions. I have met with him 2 times now and will meet again before my surgery. He tols me it would be a lifestyle change...I am ready for that. I have haerd nothing but good things about him. I will post more later.

My first meeting with Dr. Halmi was comfortable. He is so kind and very patient.
I felt as if I had knowm for a lomg time. He was very concerned and interested in me as a patient. I did not feel as if I was just another patient. He took the time to speak with my other physicians to ensure that I was ok for the procedure and sent me to a great group of specialist. His staff is kind and patient as well. A true reflecton of his nature as a physician.

Dr. Halmi is a quiet man. He is soft spoken. He is very confident and has a right to be. He is very thorough. He sends you to the right specialists to make sure you are well taken care of and nothing escapes notice or concern. I higly respect and admire him and recommend him.

The office staff has always treated me well. Respectfully, thoughtfully.

Aftercare is of great importance to all in the office. It is well structured with office visits, dietician visits and if other Drs were involved, close contact with them.

My first impression only gets better as time goes on. I know his skills are great in the operating room and his bedside manner is professional yet caring. He takes you completely, not just the need to lose weight.

My first impression of Dr. Halmi was pretty vague actually. I only spoke with him for a few moments and since I had no major questions, we didn't talk long.

I will say, however, that in the hospital I finally got a feel for the fact that he is a great doctor. He was personable and friendly and seemed to really care about each patient's condition.

Mostly, he struck me as competent. From the very beginning I knew he was a man that knew what he was doing. Busy, but very competent.

After the surgery, I have a 3 inch scar that is healing well. I did have a scare one night right after I got home and I called Dr. Halmi at 4:51 in the morning. He called me back within 3 minutes. He calmed me down and was very very kind.

How many doctors would do that?

While you don't get a lot of personal "feel good" time with Dr. Halmi before the surgery, I think he's got all the right stuff where it counts.

Dr Halmi is the best - he has a very gentle manner about him and I was comfortable with him right away.
I can't say enough good things about his staff - they are all super helpful and caring folks, and I love Deanna.
THe support group that they have put together is a wonderful tool, and I always learn something new from going to the monthly meetings.

I met Dr. Halmi on 9/4/03, my first impression of him was he was nice and quiet. The office staff were very friendly. I liked that he was very thorough in explaining everything about the surgery.

His staff was very friendly, also. Since I only met with him for a few minutes today, I will update more later.
